Translated stories I like enough to recommend. I review them so expect some spoilers (I try not to spoil major events.)
(Please read the novels on the original translator's site which can be found on novelupdates!)
Luo Tang in Ancheng No.1 Middle School is sunny and white, and full of youthfulness, but he is also the school overlord with a cold personality and considerable fighting power.
In order to take Luo Tang down a notch, bullies from other schools gave him the nickname Tangtang.
This name succeeded in becoming a minefield for Luo Tang.
But according to a classmate, she heard with her own ears a girl who was not afraid of death and called Luo Tang, Tangtang, and instead of exploding, Luo Tang ran up to her, tail wagging.
Classmate A: Wagging his tail? Do you think Luo Tang is a puppy?
Classmate B: He's a puppy, a soft dog among giant dogs, like...golden retriever!
Wei Ruxia OS: He isn't a golden retriever, he's a little wolf, super fierce!
Note: The 'tang' in Luo Tang and the Chinese for sweets/sugar sounds the same.
Thoughts:
A very cute story!
I love a good highschool sweethearts story, so I really enjoyed this! The romance between the two leads is not as in your face as other novels. They developed as friends first before becoming lovers, with most of their interactions (hs days) focused on studying (the first half may seem boring to others, even my fave scenes started at the 2nd half).
What I liked about FL was that she isn't a pushover nor is she narcissistic. She knows how and when to defend herself yet can also ask for help when she needs to. She also has the right amount of density (lol) and isn't hypocritical to slutshame (crush shame?) the girls who likes ML. So yay!
ML, on the other hand, is the greenest flag out there. Usually I side/like the female leads more when I read novels, but holy shit this man is wow. You really can't help but fall in love with him. He actually made me swoon even when saying some cringy shit, I'm down bad.

The two are direct yet kind of vague about their feelings, still there was no unneeded misunderstandings. Sure, there were conflicts and minor drama, however the leads understood each other very well and actually communicate, which is great!
The novel itself is very easy going and has like a calm vibe, which I think is pretty realistic. The only flaw I could think of was how often it described FL and ML's looks (an example would be FL's heroic eyebrows lol), but it wasn't as bad as The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage one so I can tolerate it.
Special mention to the side characters btw. Most characters here are likeable, I especially loved their highschool friends, ML's family, and FL's granny (kinda). Also congrats on FL's dad for experiencing character development! (I was willing to forgive him after hearing his reason.)
And minor spoilers, I am so glad FL actually enjoys sex, with her describing it as a "relaxation method she likes to use to relieve tension".
The translator only translated 50 chapters, so you'll have to MTL the last 10 extras. MTL is very understandable though (it's legit like translation), so yeah! Try it.
One line that made me squeal, "Be careful, your candy is hard" iykyk.
