Mia flushes slightly, standing in front of the two teenagers.

They're sat in the living room, on opposite ends of the sofa. They're dressed, but still have damp hair and flushed cheeks. James hadn't said a single word since he'd seen his mother outside of the bathroom.

Sirius snickers from his seat in the armchair next to Phoebe. James glares, but the Veela just stifles a smile, looking at Mia Potter expectantly.

The older witch hesitates before beginning awkwardly,

"I-I'm aware that you two have been dating for sometime, but there are a few things we must go over if you're going to be...intimate."

James flushes deeper if at all possible, pulling awkwardly at his collar. Phoebe rolls her eyes at him and says calmly, "Yes, Mia. Please continue."

"Well," The witch says nervously, "I-I can't stop you from...you know. But I'd like to ask that you take the right precautions. Are you being safe?"

James groans and covers his face with his hands, completely embarrassed by the question. He tears his hands away and looks at Phoebe incredulously when she says with a blasé tone, "Of course."

When she sees James balking at her she snaps, "Merlin, James. It's just sex, why are you being such a freak?!"

"Because we're talking about it with my mother!!!"

Phoebe rolls her eyes and turns to Mia, saying nonchalantly, "My mother started talking to me about sex as soon as boys started noticing me. I promise that we are being safe, but James and I were not shagging in the shower. He was mad at me—"

"I don't want the details!!" Mia says quickly, shocked as well by the veela's calm attitude. She clears her throat and asks, "Can we be done?"

"Please!" James begs, glaring as Phoebe and Sirius both snicker. His mother leaves swiftly, cheeks ruddy with embarrassment. James turns to Phoebe and Sirius, asking her in a whisper yell, "What is wrong with you?!"

Phoebe quirks a brow and defends, "She asked us a question and I answered! She's just making sure, James. It's actually rather thoughtful."

Sirius nods with mock sincerity, saying seriously, "Prongs, it's normal to talk about such things."

"Both of you can shove off. I can't believe you told her that we weren't shagging!!"

"Well we weren't," She retorts. "You got your jollies earlier but I certainly haven't gotten mine!"

Sirius lets out a jeering "Ooooooo!"

James scowls and says indignantly, "Don't challenge me, Griffin. I'll get you off here and now. Try me."

"James, you couldn't even say 'sex' to your mum. I hardly doubt you're going to shag me on her couch."

James let's out a grunt of irritation, flipping Sirius off as he guffaws from beside the Veela. She grins and says cheekily, "Oops. I've offended you."

James scowls and scoffs, "You just implied that you aren't satisfied. In front of Padfoot. Of course I'm offended!"

Phoebe smirks and glances at Sirius. He grins, watching as Phoebe scoots closer to a now grumpy looking James. Doing as she'd been practicing, she consciously turns on her charm, smiling at him softly.

James blinks, looking very confused as she gets closer. Phoebe reaches out and gently touches his arm, and James feels like he's lost all sense of his surroundings. He only sees her. Her hair, still slightly damp perfectly frames her pure face. He stares into her eyes, feeling like something is pulling him in. His mind is blissfully blank, until she smiles at him dreamily. He smiles back, deciding with his cloudy mind that he needs to do something impressive, needs to show off to this ethereal being.

"I'm the Gryffindor seeker!" James blurts out, her soft skin gently caressing his skin pulling him further into the abyss of enchantment that was her being. "I'm really good. The best." James continues proudly, staring at her face for approval.

Her laughter sounds like music when it reaches his ears and he smiles dumbly, heart pounding when she says gently, "I know, James. I'm your girlfriend."

"You're my girlfriend," He breathes, wonder lighting up his face. He's suddenly disturbed from the softness of her being by loud and obnoxious laughter. He huffs and turns to Sirius, saying angrily, "Shut up!"

When he turns back to the girl, he's surprised to feel less confused. Her smug grin slowly brings him back to reality.

"You tricked me!" James cries, jumping to his feet. Phoebe smiles and nods, asking gently, "How was it?"

"What a terrible thing to do to your boyfriend!" James continues, his scowl back on his face. He softens slightly at her expectant smile, muttering confusedly, "I-It was...I don't know."

Sirius chuckles, "Mate, that was insane! You looked like you were going to fall over!"

Phoebe hides her grin, asking again, "Did it feel good?"

"I mean..it's hard to describe..." He suddenly tears his head back and shouts, "You did that to Filch?!"

Phoebe pales slightly, looking sideways at Sirius for help. He looks back at her with wide eyes and a tiny grin playing at his lips.

Phoebe stutters, "I-I didn't! Well, I kind of did...but I didn't touch him!"

James grimaces, shaking his head and saying firmly, "Never again."

"I can't charm you ever again? Or anyone else?" Phoebe asks pointedly, rolling her eyes.

"Both!"

"Don't pretend you didn't like it, Potter. You were practically drooling on me."

James throws his hands into the air and says exasperatedly, "I give up."

Phoebe and Sirius snicker quietly, watching as James tries to gather his bearings. He hesitates, eyeing her curiously before asking,

"Could you do that again?"

Phoebe smiles smugly, saying proudly, "So it was nice. Sure, James. Not right now though. It makes me tired."

James flushes and nods. When Sirius' laughter bursts from behind the hand he has clamped over his mouth James grunts,

"That's it!"

Phoebe laughs as he launches himself at Sirius, the two wrestling on the floor of the living room. Mia and Fleamont peek in and the wizard sighs, mumbling,

"Kids."

Mia nods, a tiny smile pulling at her lips as the boys pull Phoebe into the fight, playfully smacking and elbowing eachother.

She'd always wanted more kids.
