"I am expecting that this wedding will go well, Kent," my dad uttered.

We're in a presidential suite in Hotel Felice. My parents are here. And there are some family friends who are already giving their congratulatory message for me and my parents.

Keep your messages with you, ma'am and sir. No wedding will happen later.

"Did you hear your dad, KD?" my mom asked. I just nodded.

Don't worry, dad and mom, this will surely be the wedding of the century. No one will ever forget what will take place today.

"She left her apartment early, sir. She's on her way there," Arden reported. My parents already left. They said that they'd check the venue and all.

That's not the one you should check, mom and dad. You should check my twisted brain because you will be surprised to lots of undertakings that will happen later. You might not take them all in.

"How is she?" I asked. I wasn't able to talk to her after I sent her home last night. I sent her messages though but she's not responding. She's maybe at work. She's working in a coffee shop, sa baba lang ng dormitory type of apartment na inuupahan niya.

I felt wretched when I saw her one time when she was at work. I wanted to pull her out of there and bring her somewhere to rest. She looked so tired then. Naawa ako sa kanya. She couldn't even get in private schools nearby because schools blacklisted her. That's my parents' doing. Mas lalong nakadagdag yun sa galit ko sa kanila. I pulled all possible connections to lift the blacklist thing but my parents learned about it. I did lay down for a while because it might ruin my plans. Hindi bale, malapit na malapit nang matapos ang lahat ng 'to. Nasa akin na ang PMI. May company's on her way to the top. Ilalayo ko siya rito. I already have the power I need to protect her. No one would hurt her. Ever.

"Ayos naman, sir. Mrs. Piemonte invited her to your wedding so expect that she'd be there later."

I phoned Myro to follow things up. Dapat maging maayos ang flow ng plan.

"Don't worry, bro. Everything is going well. Ready na ang sasakyan. Naroon na ang mga gamit na pwede niyong magamit sa loob ng dalawa hanggang tatlong linggo. May mga pagkain na rin dun. I even put a gun, asshole, para plakado ang pagiging protector mo. Huwag kang mag-alala, licensed yun," he told me over the phone.

"Thanks, man." I wouldn't be able to push these things without the help of my friends. Babawi ako sa kanila after all of these.

"Keep Jane with you. Huwag niyong hahayaang mag-isa siya mamaya. She's the most important here. Everything will go in vain if in the end I wouldn't be with her." I couldn't help but to get nervous. Shit! Maging maayos sana ang lahat mamaya.

"Hi bes," she greeted. She looks damn lovely. I missed her so much.

I might look constipated in front of her. I didn't really know what to say. I wanted to tell her that I love her but I was thinking that she might freak out and that would ruin the plan. I will tell her about it later kapag kasama ko na siya.

"I...I just want to tell you that I am so happy seeing you where you are now. You've grown as a great man. I am so proud of you now and of what you will become..."

Alright, baby. No need for that kind of speech. Makakasama mo 'ko mamaya. We will write our own version of forever a little later. Just wait a little more.

But when she whispered the words "M-mahal kita." Fuck! I froze from where I was standing. My eyes widened a fragment.

Did I hear her right? Did she say that... she loves me? Holy shit!
