Chapter 35

After talking to my dad, we all decided to have Christmas dinner at the apartment.

Even though some of our furniture isn't in yet, the living room and kitchen is, so we're all good.

On the ride to our house, Dad and Wren drive behind us on the way.

"So...what are we gunna tell Arthur about the baby?" Levi asks, hesitantly.

"Well, I'm just gunna tell him that I'm pregnant. I'm old enough to have a kid, and the college has a nursery, so it's no big deal."

"But will he be okay with us not being married yet?"

"I don't know. I love him, but I don't really care what he thinks. As long as his eyeballs don't fall out of his head and plop into our Christmas dinner, I think everything will be fine."

He grinned. It's a beautiful grin. The kind where no effort is put forth because it's so natural, and you can tell. Even if someone has an ugly face, (I know, shallow right? But there are some people out there that are just yeesh and you can't deny it) their smile can be the most beautiful thing in the world.

"Levi?" I begin as I reach my arm around his shoulder to play with his hair.

"Hmm?"

"I am madly in love with you. Even if my dad doesn't like that we're having a baby, it won't ruin our Christmas. Christmas is about family, and I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be with you. And whoever this is," I say looking at my stomach, "I'm happy that we get to spend our holiday beginning our new family."

He smiles. "I wish you wouldn't have told me all this while I'm driving, because I really want to kiss you right now."

I lean over the divider and plant a kiss on his cheek.

"Why thank you sweetie." He says in a husbandly voice.

"My pleasure, dear." I reply.

Sorry this is so short, just thought I should update for you while I can. I've been super sick all week + weekend and I wanted to let you know that I will be updating more often! I'm getting a keyboard for my iPad mini soon and I have big plans. Love you all! Xoxo - Samantha (:
