A severe cramp in my stomach wakes me from my restless sleep. It feels like fear and death and a door closing; a flower shriveling from vibrant colors to brown.

Something is wrong.

I scream and yell in agonizing pain. Burning tears kiss my cheeks, as if teasing me. I rub the bottom of my stomach bump and rock back and forth in my bed, yelling.

"Levi, Levi! Something's wrong..." My voice fades into my tears.

He's instantly out of bed quickly changing clothes, and the next thing I know, I'm waking up in a hospital cot.

My eyes slowly open to a crack. They feel so heavy...like someone placed pebbles on my eyelids, the way it feels when you get those yellow eye drops at the eye exam center.

I see a figure in white enter the room, and soon realize It's a woman. As my vision begins to focus, I realize that something is definitely wrong. The doctor's face says it all.

I can tell she's hesitating, standing in front of me like some insecure teenage girl.

"Please just tell me what's wrong." I ask in an insistent tone.

"I'm afraid..."

As I realize he's sitting next to me, Levi takes my hand. He's crying.

"I'm afraid you've had a miscarriage."
