I went back upstairs and grabbed my phone to call her.
"Hello?"
"Where the hell are you?"I asked
"My parent's."She answered
"Come home."I told her
"No.We're having breakfast.I'll be back later."She told me
"What time is later?"I asked
She huffed."I don't know.A couple hours at most."
"..Alright."I mumbled
"Is that okay with you, Aubrey?"She asked
"Yeah.."I said
"Okay.I'll see you later."She told me
"Alright,bye."I hung up

"Nooo!She was there?"Gia asked me
I nodded."It was so weird because I've never met her before then.The whole three years we've been together I've never seen her,run into her, nothing."
"It must've been awkward, no?"Gia asked as she changed her son's diaper
"It absolutely was.It was actually a shit show when we got home.I mean she was respectful and nice.There wasn't anything wrong..but Aubrey.He just kept pushing me to be mad for no reason."I groaned
"What do you mean?"She rose a brow
"He just kept telling me that I was upset.And I really wasn't.I was definitely a little shaken up..a little insecure but I didn't have a real reason to be mad."I said
She nodded.
"You two..you and Aubrey are like Tyson and Holyfield."She said
I sighed."I know.Im really tired of it.I try my best to avoid confrontation but he just..takes me there."
She kissed her one year old's head as she finished with his diaper then handed him back to me.
"I stopped fighting Kyle a while ago..I just let him get his anger out.Let him calm down, and then try to resolve the issue.That obviously doesn't work though.So don't listen to me."She said lowly
I looked to her with sad eyes.I didn't want a marriage like hers.I didn't want to be like her.The girl's a sweetheart but she's spineless.
