The sun crept through the windows waking Jasmine early on the eve of her wedding. Yawning, she rolls over cuddling into Aubrey's embrace.
"Mornin'."He grumbles, pulling her in
"Good morning."She mumbles into his chest
"Feelin' okay?"His hands circle the side of her bump
"For now."She nods
He nods as well, in understanding.
"Can I ask you something?"She asks softly
"Of course."He meets her eyes below
"I-..how would you..feel about me inviting Travis to come tomorrow?"She spits out nervously
"Why? Have you guys reconnected?"He asks, perplexed
He hadn't heard about Travis in about six months.
"Well yeah. Elle gave me his number yesterday. I was thinking of inviting him but I wanted to know how you felt about it."She said
"I'm fine with that. Whatever you want." He nodded
"Are you sure?" She asked
"Yeah baby.As long as he doesn't object our marriage."He chuckled
She smiled. "Okay I'll make sure that doesn't happen."
He pecked her lips.
"Wanna get some breakfast?"He asked
She nodded."Im starving."
The couple got out of bed and took a shower together. Washing each other and doing their morning skincare was relaxing before breakfast.
They made it downstairs and Jasmine sat down watching Aubrey begin to make instant pancakes.
"Ooh you're cooking for me."She smiled rubbing her belly
"Gotta give you the wife treatment now."He joked
Jasmine chuckled.
"You haven't had morning sickness today."He pointed out
"Oh yeah."She realized
"Thank god."She added
"You feel okay?"He asked looking up to her
Jasmine nodded."Yeah I feel fine, just hungry."
"Okay I'll hurry up."He smirked
"Im gonna call Travis."She scrolled on her phone
Aubrey watched her silently as she clicked Travis' number and held the phone to her ear.
"Hey."She smiled avoiding Aubrey's eyes
"Im good..yeah we're good."She nods
"How are you?...That's good.And Ashley?...Im glad to hear that...Um yeah I was actually calling to see if you were home this weekend?...I know it's the middle of the season but- Im getting married tomorrow and I want you there."Jasmine said
"He's okay with it..yeah."She looked up and caught Aubrey's gaze
"Okay I can send you all the details. I'd love for your mom to be there too if you don't mind passing the message to her."She went on
After saying their goodbyes, Jasmine hung up the phone.
"All good?"Aubrey asked
"Uh yeah- he'll be here.He's flying in tonight."She nodded
