A week later
Jasmine
Chris and I rode silently to my first ultrasound appointment.It was still unreal to me but we're doing this.
I hadn't told anyone yet, not even Elle or Travis.I just didn't know how to explain the situation to them.
"Jas.Come on."Chris brought me out of my thoughts
I looked up and saw that we were at the OB/GYN.
"Are you sure you want to come with?"I asked him
"Of course I do."He said
I stared at him.
"Okay."I nodded
We got out of the car and he grabbed my hand.
"Relax."He said as he opened the door for us
We got inside and signed in then sat down.
"You look so nervous."He lightly squeezed my thigh
"I am."I looked over at him
"Everything will be fine."He told me and kissed my hand
"Jasmine?"
We got up and followed the nurse into a room.
"How are you two today?"She asked
"Good."I said
"We're doing alright."Chris answered
"Alright Ms.Davis, Im gonna have you sit up on this exam table and lie back for me.We are going to do an ultrasound."She said
Chris let go of my hand and I sat on the table.I lifted my shirt up.
I noticed that i was losing my abs but my stomach was still flat.
"Okay.This is going to be a little cold Mama."She said
My eyes lit up at her calling me that.
Mama
That's what I am now..
I was brought out of my thoughts when the cold jelly came in contact with my skin.
"Okay so we should be able to hear the heartbeat and-
"Ah there it is"She said as we heard loud thumping
"Oh my god.Is that?"I asked
"That is your baby."She nodded
I looked over to Chris.

"And that is your baby.He or she is about the size of a raspberry."She said
