"No Trav, its too last minute."I huffed into my phone to my bestfriend
"C'mon Jazzy,it'll be fun."He said
"Why would facing everyone that made fun of me in high school be fun?"I asked rolling my eyes
"So you can stunt.I'll pick you up in the morning so we can head to the airport.Love you.Bye."He hung up
I groaned and looked back to my computer.Im an owner of a PR firm in LA.Though im from Toronto, I definitely love America.
Next Morning
I glared at Travis as he put my bag in his car.

"You're so lucky I like you."I mumbled
"Whatever Jas."He said
He started the car and we headed off.
"You gonna visit your ma?"He asked
"So she can ask when i'll find a man?Hard pass."I said
"Well you are 28-
"So are you.Where's your wife?"I cut him off
"Okay true but im just saying..maybe you should at least try to date.You work too much."He said
"Well shit has to get done.Im just focused right now and dick is not gonna ruin my money for me."I said
He just nodded.
The rest of the ride to the airport was a nice silence between us while the radio played.I started to think about how old I'm getting.Maybe I do need to date.Im almost 30 and haven't had a serious relationship in years.
"Jazzy."Travis took me out of my day dream
I looked over at him.
"Your guy is supposed to be there."He said and I knew exactly who he was talking about
"He's not my guy."I looked at him
"Well maybe I can make something happen."He said
"Im not interested."I snapped
"Fine."He groaned
We boarded our flight after half an hour of going through security.The class reunion was tonight and I had to mentally prepare to be social.
Later
"Don't you have something else to wear?I dont wanna match."I told Travis
