A few weeks later

I finished wrapping the last present for Kairo and put a bow on it.Tomorrow's Christmas.

Im back home in Toronto and so is Aubrey.I'll be having dinner at Ms.Sandi's house with them and the whole crew.My baby, Adonis, will be there too and I kinda spoiled him with the gifts.

Oh yeah..and I'll be meeting Sophie.

Im actually really nervous.I want to have a good relationship with her or an at least okay one.I don't have time for baby mama drama honestly.

"Auntie!"Kairo came running to me

"Why are you running?"I asked

Then came Kaleb behind him.

"What is it?"I asked

"He ate my snack!!"He yelled

I huffed.

"Kairo.Don't steal your brother's food.Come here Kaleb I'll get you another one."I told him

I picked Kairo up and took them both to the kitchen where my mom and Jordan were cooking.

"When's granny and pa coming?"I asked

"In the morning."Jordan said

I nodded and handed Kaleb another snack.

"Kairo say sorry."I told him

He pouted.

"Ro Ro."I said

"Sorry."He said

"Now give your brother a hug."I encouraged

They hugged each other and went back upstairs to play.

"So..how do you feel about tomorrow?Christmas is serious."Jordan asked

"Uh..Im nervous."I said honestly

"His parents will be there and I'll be meeting his son's mom for the first time.."I told them

"Oh wow."My mom said

I looked over at her.

"I don't even know how to go about that."I shook my head

"Just be yourself.Be honest.Show her that you aren't a threat to her motherhood."My mom said

"Is that what you did?"Jordan asked

She nodded."Your mom was not too fond of me at the beginning."

"What changed?"Jordan asked

"She started dying..and she needed me to be your mother."She answered

I looked to Jordan with sad eyes.

"Being a step mom is a weird thing.You don't want to over step any boundaries but you also want to to love and care for the child like you would your own...you just have to find balance."She added

"I wouldn't consider myself a step mom.."I said

"Mm okay.With all those gifts you bought for him."Jordan said

"I had to..I know he's already so spoiled but he's such a sweet little boy."I cooed

"Have you two talked about marriage and your own kids?"My mom asked

"No..not recently.He says he doesn't want marriage but his mother thinks otherwise..Im trying not to pressure him-

"But you want to get married..why are you with him if he doesn't want to?"Jordan asked
