I walked over to the couch and found my way over next to Chris.It was almost completely dark in the living room.The only light source being the television he stared into.

He was watching the Patriots game and I was because I wanted his company.

I sat down and rested my head on his shoulder.He kissed my head as I got comfortable.

"Babe."I said

"Mm?"

"When we were in Toronto..I went to have lunch with my ex."I told him

"What?"He looked over at me

"I had to talk to him.I told him about the baby."I said

He put his beer down on the table.

"What is it?Do you wanna be with him?"He asked

"No.Im happy here.With you.I just-I dunno.I felt guilty for being happy, knowing that he's not."I explained

He nodded and turned his attention back to the game.

"Chris."I said

"Hmm?"He didn't look my way

"Im sorry..that I didn't tell you the truth."I told him

He shrugged.

I sighed and decided to leave it alone for now.

Aubrey

"Bro you're seriously going crazy.You said that?!"Chubbs shook his head at me

I sighed.

"Yeah..I mean- I just thought I could get her back."I said

"Aubrey- you have to let it go."Oli said

"How?How do you expect me to do that?"I asked

"I don't know man but you can't be going around telling your ex to abort her baby.Like I'm actually really worried about you."Oli said

I sipped the beer in front of me.

"Im fine- I just need to-

"You need to stop."40 told me

"Seriously.It's getting out of hand.Like- she's happy.Obviously moved on.You can too."Chubbs told me

40 nodded.

"You should send a gift like she did for you and let that be the end of it.Focus on working and your kid."He said

I nodded and finished off my beer before setting it down.

Later

"Alright man.Take care of yourself."Chubbs said as I walked him to the door

"Yeah."I nodded

We dapped each other and I let him out.

I headed upstairs and stumbled into my bedroom.I feel onto my bed and into a deep sleep.

"Daddy!!!!Wake up!"I heard a little voice

I groaned and looked over to see a little girl.
