I sat in the studio with 40 nodding my head to the beat.

"Yeah I like this one."I told him

"Alright."He nodded

"You speak to Jas?"He asked me

"..Nah.I should see her tonight."I said

OVO had an office party tonight at a lounge downtown tonight.We're celebrating signing a new artist, Jorja Smith.

Jasmine told me she'd be there a few weeks ago.

"I still can't believe she's engaged.That's crazy."He said

"Who you telling?"I slightly chuckled

There was a silence.

"You good?"He asked me

"I mean..yeah.Im a little pissed but I fucked up.I don't think they'll actually go through with it.Travis is flakey."I shrugged

He chuckled."Bro.Come on."

"What?He never wanted her.He's been playing her to the side since middle school."I said

"I think he's serious though.Oli told me they're trying to have a kid."He said

I looked up."What?"

"..Yeah he gave her the week off.She's doing some fertility treatment and she's been sick."

"What the fuck?"I mumbled

"I wasn't supposed to know that so keep it low.Don't go running your fucking mouth."

"Yeah.Whatever.I gotta go."I got up

"You sure you're gonna be alright?"Travis asked me once again

"Babe..how many times do I have to tell you?"I groaned

He's leaving tonight for Toronto.His grandmother's birthday is tomorrow.

"It's two days.You know I've gone 3 months without you?"I said sarcastically

He walked up to me."You weren't my fiancé then."

He kissed my head and looked down at me.

"I wish I could come."I said

"Yeah me too."He said

He's coming with me to the event tonight but he has to leave a little early for his flight.

"So is this new artist any good?"He asked

"I like her.We've met a few times."I said

We both started to get ready.

"You know..you never told me how you feel about me working with him."I said while I did my makeup

"..I don't have an issue with it.Get your money."He said

I slightly smiled."Mmkay."

When I was done getting ready he headed to the event.

"You okay?"Trav asked me

"Mhm."I said

He grabbed my hand and we exited the car service.We pushed through paparazzi and got inside.
