"So how are things going with Drake?"Elle asked me

We were having a girls lunch with Abigail.

"Pretty good.Im back in forth between here and Toronto very often..it's honestly getting exhausting."I sighed

"But you aren't ready to make the move yet?"She asked

"Eh..I feel like our relationship is extremely stable now.We've been communicating better but..there's still this doubt in the back of my head.I mean I'd be leaving everything I've built behind..You guys and work and..Im worried."I sighed

"About?"She asked as she bounced Abby

"That he'll change.That things won't work out..and then I'll have nothing."I said

"That's not true.You'll still have us.You'll still have your company.Im not team Drake at all but..it seems like he's really who you're supposed to be with.It's only been three months so maybe in the next couple months you reevaluate the relationship and see if there's growth."She said

I nodded.

"Abby your mommy's a life saver."I told the one year old

Elle chuckled."I just want the best for you..even if that means you moving to a different country."

I could tell she was a little sad about it.Shit I am too.

"I'll come back and visit all the time."I assured her

"I swear if you do all this for him and he doesn't marry you, I will kill him."She shook her head

I chuckled.

"Have you guys talked about that?"She asked

I nodded."For sure.He seems more on board with I am at this point."

She furrowed her brows.

"Therapy..it made me think about why exactly I wanted to get married.I kinda figured out that I wanted to do it because it's just what everyone does.I want kids for sure but I'm really reevaluating my views on marriage these days."I said

"Hmm."She hummed

"What?"I asked

"Nothing...I just want you to be sure that's what you want."She said

I nodded.

After lunch, I FaceTime'd Aubrey.

"Hey baby."He answered

"Hey.How's your day going?"I asked him

He shrugged."It's okay.My mom is having a dinner this weekend.All the guys will be there and I'd like if you could come."

I rose an eyebrow."Will Oli and OB be there..?"

He sighed."Yeah but-

"Aubrey no."I said

"I need all of you to be cool."He said

"I don't want to be cool with them.Did you forget how Oli treated me those last few months we were together? And I still don't know how you're still cool with O'Brien after everything he's done."I shook my head

"So what.?Our whole relationship they're not gonna be able to be around?You want me to cut them off?"He asked

"Im not saying that.All Im saying is that I don't want to be around them.If OB gets too drunk he's just gonna push up on me again and then Oli's gonna blame me!Im really done with that shit."I explained
