"I want to talk about Travis with you today."My therapist, Dr.Jackson, said

I silently nodded.

"We've talked about it in spurts but I really want to know how you feel about this."She said

"Okay."I nodded

"Correct me if I'm wrong but you two have been friends since what- kindergarten?"She asked

"Yes."I nodded

"Tell me why you aren't speaking."She said

I told her what happened.

"When was the last time you spoke to him?"She asked

"Months ago..I blocked his number.It's just..too hard to look at him.I've loved him for so long.He was the closest person to me..I can't understand how he could-"I sniffled

She handed me a box of tissues.

"I understand Jasmine."She said

"..And she was pregnant and I can't do that naturally...I-"I sighed and felt tears form

I felt her grab my hand.

"Breathe."She coached

I took deep breathes.

"You said she was..pregnant.Did she have an abortion?"She asked

"He told me she was..I never got to ask if she ever did."I mumbled

She nodded.

"I don't want you to think that your feelings about this are invalid.He was the person you trusted the most and he betrayed you so greatly."She said

I wiped my eyes.

"Are you still journaling?"She asked

"Yes."I nodded

"Okay, next session bring that in and we'll discuss your thoughts."She said

"Okay."I nodded

"Have a good week.I'll see you Thursday."She said

"You too."

I got up and left the room.This shit isn't easy.

When I got to my car, I fixed my makeup and headed out to meet Elle.I was going baby shopping with her.

She's been really weary of talking about her baby with me and doing things like this but, Im totally fine with it.She has a little bump now and I'm really excited for her.

When I got to the baby boutique she was already there, looking at strollers.I chuckled at her pushing it back and forth.

"What do you think?"She asked

"Very cute."I hugged her

"It's been a while since I've seen you..you okay?"She asked

"Yeah Im doing okay."I nodded

"How are youuu?"I rubbed her belly

"Ugh, my feet are swelling, im getting fat and my bladder is terrible."She huffed

"Im sorry girl."I chuckled

She looked at me.

"I um..I never asked you-

"What?"I asked

"I saw that Trevante got arrested for domestic abuse in Toronto, the weekend you were there..did h-

"Yeah."I nodded

"I didn't want the police involved but Aubrey insisted."I added

"Have you talked to him?Is he okay?"I asked
