I walked out to the backyard and found Jas in the pool.

"Baby it's getting too cold for the pool."I told her

She turned her head to me and smiled.

"Morning baby."She said

"Good morning."I kissed her head

She started to climb out of the pool, giving me a full view of her.

"You look beautiful."I said into her ear, resting a hand on her growing belly

"Thank you."She kissed my cheek

"My mom's inside."I told her

While the two of us had our cake tasting today so, my mom would be taking Adonis to his doctors appointment.

"Okay.I'll go say hello."She nodded wrapping herself in a towel

I followed behind her.

"Getting your laps in this morning?"My mother asked her

Jas nodded."Yeah I need to be more active."

"No you don't.The doctor said you need to relax."I interjected

I saw her make a face at my mom, earning a chuckle from her.

"Your son is so overprotective, Sandi."She said

I watched her go into the fridge and grab some fruit.Strawberries and blueberries.

"I know he is but he just wants to make sure you're safe and healthy Jas.Can't be mad at that."Mom explained

I watched Jas's hands slightly shake as she tried to cut the strawberries.

"Give it here."I walked over to her

"I got it."She glared

"No you don't.It's cold in here.You're shaking."I took the knife from her

"Are you two going to do this the whole pregnancy?"Sandi watched us from across the kitchen

"If Jasmine would stop being so stubborn-

"Im not handicapped Aubrey.You're smothering me."She sighed

I looked up at my mother and saw a concerned expression.I didn't want to argue in front of her so I dropped it.

"Okay.Im sorry baby.Why don't you go get dressed okay?I'll cut up your fruit and bring it to you."I kissed her head

"Okay."She said softly

"I'll see you later Sandi."Jas kissed her cheek and went up the staircase

"You handled that well honey."Mom said

I shrugged.

"Aubrey."She said

I looked up from the fruit.

"You're doing a good job.She might think you're a little suffocating but Im glad you're taking care of her.She's just not used to it plus she's got all those hormones.Don't take it personally."She explained

"Thank you Ma."I nodded

"Granny!!"Adonis came running out of the bathroom

"There you are big boy!Did you potty?"She asked

He nodded and wiped his nose with his hand.

"Oh gross."I cringed

"Okay let's blow your nose before we go."She chuckled
