A few weeks later

"Other than that, have things been okay?"Elle asked on Facetime

I got back in touch with her a couple weeks ago and told her everything.She's also watching Jasper for me.

"Yeah..I guess.Im ready to go home."I said

She nodded and I saw her start to nervously fidget.

"What is it?"I asked her

"Well..Marcus.He's been wanting to get in touch with you.He's called and texted you.He wants to apologize."She said

"What?I haven't gotten any calls from him."I furrowed my brows

I went to my call log and didn't see anything from him.I didn't see any new messages either.I went to his contact and saw that he was blocked.Travis probably did that.

"Someone blocked him from my phone.I didn't get any of his messages."I said

"Oh.Well I'll let him know.If that's okay with you."She said

"Uhm..I don't know if Im there yet."I said

She nodded."That's fine too.Whatever you're comfortable with."

After talking with her for a little while longer, I decided to work out a little bit.My parents wouldn't allow me to go to the gym so I had to do at home work outs.

After about thirty minutes I decided to facetime Aubrey.His birthday party is tonight and Im really upset I can't make it.

"Hey baby."He answered while getting his haircut

"Getting ready for your party?"I asked

"Yeah."He looked at me

"Im sorry I can't make it."I said

"Don't worry about it.Im glad you're with your family."He said

I nodded.

"..Is uh..is Rihanna going to be there?"I asked

"No.Of course not."He furrowed his brows

"Jas.Im sorry about all the things I've done that made you feel like you're in competition with her.I promise you aren't."He said

"It's okay."I said lowly

I knew him..he probably had someone he invited so he could fuck her.I decided to just let it go.

"Babe.Talk to me."He said

"No it's okay Aub.Go have fun at your party.I'll call you tomorrow."I told him

He sighed."Why don't you feel like you can talk to me?"

"Aub..please."I shook my head

"I want to know."He said

I was silent.

"Jasmine." He called

"Aubrey no."I said

He sucked his teeth.

"I don't want to be a burden.You already have so much going on and I don't want you to worry about me."I told him

"You're not a burden.I worry about you anyway.I just want to know what you're thinking so I can help."He said

"..okay."
