Today I was going engagement ring shopping for Jas.I had no idea of what she liked so..I went through her phone and got Elle's number to help.After secretly talking to her for a few days, I was finally going to pick out a ring for my baby.
We'd be meeting with her parents tomorrow and I wanted to ask her father for his blessing.I can't say I'm not nervous or worried because I am.Neither of her parents are too fond of me which I understand.I've hurt and embarrassed her but I want to try and make things right.
"Hey.Where are you going?"She said as I came downstairs

She was in the kitchen putting away groceries.I noticed a lot of the food was for Adonis.
"Uh I have a meeting with Oli.Should be a couple hours."I told her
"Okay.Do you think Adonis will like these?I saw them in the store and they're so cute."She gushed over the Gogurt in her hands
I chuckled."Yeah Im sure he will baby."
She nodded and placed the box in the fridge.
"You know..I don't usually do my own grocery shopping."I told her
"I know but..what else am I gonna do?"She shrugged
I walked over and kissed her head.
"I'll see you later?"I said
She nodded."Okay."
I left her to it and headed to to see my jeweler.I normally had him come to the house but I obviously couldn't do that right now.
I made it to his shop and we went to the back.
"Alright so I have a few options for you.I know you said you didn't want anything too big?"He said and pulled out a few rings
"Yeah.She's a simple girl."I slightly smiled
I looked over the rings.Elle told me that Jas liked more round rings.She liked the oval shape and I know she didn't want anything too big but I wanted her to have something nice.
"You have a girl in here who could try these on so I can see?"I asked
"Yeah..Shannon!Come here!"He called
A young blonde girl came in the room.He asked her to try them all on.I stared at her hand.
