“Adrian. I know all I’ve ever done is screw everything up. Screw up all the plans. Screw up by hurting you unintentionally. And screw up by... Just being me. But if there is one thing I do not want to screw up, is our planned wedding day... And of course our love for each other... It may have already been ruined, and have to wait now until I “return”. But Adrian, I want to marry you. I know this is beyond crazy, but I love you that much...
Adrian Crevan... Would you be just as crazy as I am and... Marry me tonight?”
He begins laughing. “In all my years I’ve never been the one being asked if I’d marry the other! Hehehehehe. My love, I’d marry you right now if I could.” He says before kissing me.
“So, is that a yes?” I asked hopefully after we break the kiss. He lets out a small sigh. “My love. I’ve told you I didn’t care if we married today or not. What matters to me is that you and Little Bean are happy. I don’t want you feeling like you’d have to marry me today, because really, you don’t. I want you to marry me because you want to marry me. Not because you feel like you have to.”
“But I do want to marry you! Otherwise, I never would have asked in the first place!” I answer. “Fair enough. But before I give my answer... How would we pull off getting married today? How, where... And who-”
“I know just who might be able to marry us. As for where... Anywhere you would like, my love.” I say, making him smile. “So... Will you marry me tonight?” I asked once more. “Amora Phantomhive, of course I will marry you tonight.” He says before giving me another kiss.
“But there is just one more thing, doll. Are you sure you’ll even be up to it? You’re still rather sick yet. I don’t want you to end up sick in the middle of the ceremony.” He teases, but I was still able to hear the concern in his voice.
“I’ll manage. I want to marry you. I want you happy too-”
“Amora-”
“But that does not mean what you are thinking. I do want to marry you today. I promise I really do.”
“And what about everyone else?”
“We will just have to hold another ceremony for them later on-”
“Another ceremony? What are you guys talking about?” We suddenly hear Luna say. I close my eyes as my plan had already been found out. I exhale quietly as I figure out how I’m going to explain this.
“Luna...” I start as I climb off of Adrian and stand to face her. He stands up as well and stands next to me as he wraps an arm around me. “I’m not sure how the best way to explain this is...
I’m... So tired of how I have been acting. So tired of how I have been treating Undertaker. So tired of him treating me so perfectly while I have been the complete opposite towards him.” I try explaining as I’m starting to get a little choked up. “Amora-” Adrian starts, but I needed to finish explaining.
“All I ever seem to do is ruin everything for everybody!! I’m done! We were supposed to get married today as you already know that. Well, I decided, we decided to go ahead and get married today anyway. It’ll just be the two of us and the person to marry us-”
“Amora, you’re joking, right?!”
“No, I am not. But it’s just going to be a short one. We are not going to be wearing the clothes we had made for the wedding. We are not going to exchange our own vows. Because we will still hold another ceremony for everyone else to see.
We will wear our wedding clothes then. We will exchange our own vows then, and everything else. So you won’t be missing anything tonight. Everything will be completely traditional tonight, nothing more, nothing less.”
