“How about we go for a late night swim?” I can tell he was up to something, and I smile as well. “Alright!”
But before we made our way out, there was a knock on the door. “Adrian? Who could that be?”
“Nobody either of us knows. Let me go see.” He says as he walks over to the door. “Baby, wait!” But he already opened it up.
“Hey, I figured I’d come and see you!” I heard a female voice say. It sounded very familiar, and I didn’t like it. But I couldn’t exactly pinpoint who the voice belonged to, but I knew she shouldn’t be here. I couldn’t hear what Adrian was saying, and I stand myself up and take off his hoodie, leaving me in just his shirt with my undergarments exposed.
“I brought this for you, I wanted to wish you a happy birthday!” Okay, how does she know it’s his birthday?! “Can I come in?” I quickly make my way over to the door to see who it was. “Honey, who is it?” I ask as I wrap my arms around his left arm and lean into him. I then noticed the woman had her hands on his bare chest, and I look over at her with an angry look. It was her. Molly! She was holding a bouquet of flowers, and she quickly retracted her hand as soon as she saw me. She then eyes me up and down as I was wearing his shirt but openly, also revealing my bra and panties.
“First things first, don’t you ever lay another finger on my man again.” I nearly growl as I wrap an arm around his hips, and he brings his around mine. “And second of all, what the hell are you doing here?!”
“Baby, I will take care of it. You can’t be getting worked up, alright?” He practically whispers into my ear. “I-I apologize, I didn’t know you had company...”
“By company, you mean my wife? What are you doing here, Molly? Almost ruining my relationship with her wasn’t enough? Now you made your way out here?! How’d you even know I’d be here?!”
“I’m confused, the woman you were with earlier had brown hair and purple eyes. Now this one is your wife?! And she has purple hair and blue eyes!? How many women are you with?!”
“If you would take a look at my scar on my neck you would be able to see I’m the same person, only this time I’m not wearing a wig-”
“Okay, but you two broke up earlier, and now you’re married??”
“It’s none of your business, Molly! Now what are you doing here?!”
“You always came here on your birthdays, I wanted to keep you the company, but I see you already have that taken care of.”
“What a homewrecker-”
“Baby, please let me handle this, I do not want you getting worked up at all, you can’t!”
“Oh no, you want another situation like earlier?! To be left alone with her again?!”
“No!-”
“Why can’t she get worked up?”
“So you’re doing this on purpose?”
“Ladies, STOP!” Adrian yells out. I look up at him as he was rubbing his hand down his face. “Molly. Amora is the one I want. My love for her has no end, and I want her to be the one I spend the rest of my life with! She is pregnant, and with my baby. With that said, she is high risk and that is why she cannot get worked up! Whether we were broken up or not, I wouldn’t want you, I’m sorry. I would never stop fighting for her, she is my complete world! Yes, we are married now. We came out here to marry each other. We’ve only been married for not even an hour yet, and here you are wanting to cause more problems?!”
“I’m sorry, I just wanted things to be like how they used to be-”
“That was half a century ago, Molly! 50 years ago!”
“But we were in love with each other! You told me you wanted to spend the rest of our lives together!”
“We did, Molly. Your life. Then you died and I moved on!”
“Are you sure it’s such a good idea saying that in front of her?!”
“I’m not going to keep anything from her, she is my wife!”
“And you’re not the only one who is undead, Molly. I’ve been dead twice now. And yet, here I am.” I give an innocent yet wicked grin. “Amora, please. I’m only asking you for the safety of our baby!” He gives me a pleading look. “You know you have nothing to worry about, Dearie. I am without a doubt, 1,000% yours! I married you, Honey. Please... I love you.” I look into his eyes, and I wanted nothing more than to decline. But I also have to think about our baby as well. It’s not just about me anymore. Giving both of them an angry look, I hesitate to answer.
“Alright. Fine, but I’ll be waiting.” I say as I shifted my weight onto one foot, crossing my arms over my chest. He then leans down and gives me a reassuring, yet warm and loving kiss. “I won’t keep you waiting, I promise.” He gives me that adoring smile, melting my heart. I give him my best flirtatious/seductive look with my eyes before glancing at her, glaring, and I make my way towards the kitchen.
“You’re just going to believe she’s pregnant?? She’s not even showing! There are no such tests to take to even confirm! And you’re just going to believe her word?? She has to be lying to you!” I immediately stop in my tracks. She did not just say that... “Molly, she is not lying-”
I run over to her and was about to attack her, but Adrian ended up catching me before I got to her. “Amora, don’t do this! You can’t get yourself hurt!!”
“This fucking bitch has the audacity to think I’m lying?! Let me go, I’ll rip her apart!”
“Like you could hurt me, you’re just a little girl-”
“Time for you to leave, Molly-”
“Excuse me?! Call me a little girl again, I dare you! I fucking murdered the last bitch that tried hitting on him! I snapped her head right then and there, and I’ll do the same to you!!”
“And a psychopath! You got yourself a real keeper. And you want her over me?!”
He immediately pulls me further back before slamming the door in her face. “Amora, you have got to settle down!”
“You’re just going to allow her to talk to and about me like that?! I’m supposed to be your wife, Adrian!! The mother of your baby!!” I look at him in disappointment and with hurt. “How can I get a word in when you’re ready to jump her! My first priority is to get you calmed down enough to save our baby!!”
“Nice to know you’ll let people put me down like that rather than sticking up for me. So much for your vows, Adrian! To support, honor, defend and uphold me in all circumstances!!! Just as I vowed to you!”
I turn around and head towards the bedroom. “Amora, wait!” He calls out, but I ignore him, closing the bedroom door shut and lay down onto the bed. I immediately hear the front door slam shut, signaling that he must have left.
Letting out an exaggerated sigh, I knew I was letting my stupid emotions take over. But at the same time, we made our vows, to which he didn’t exactly keep to...
So much for defending me...
Instead of dwelling, I needed to get myself into a better mood. He’s apparently not here for that, I’m on my own I guess. I change into a bathing suit I made, and head outside and into the ocean water.
As I step outside, I didn’t see Adrian. I look over to the far left and saw them talking. As he notices me, I just give him a look and continue my way towards the water.
