I woke up but still had my eyes closed. I slowly try reaching over to feel for Undertaker, but something was weighing my hand down. Opening my eyes, I look up and see him looking down at me. I look down at my hand finding that it was him that was holding it, and I was using his other arm as a pillow.
I then look back up at him and smile. “Good morning, love. Did you sleep any better?” He asks. “Mm. I did, thank you.” He leans down for a kiss. “It’s my pleasure to help you in any way.” He says as he gives me another kiss.
“How’d you sleep?” I asked once we pulled away. “Better than I have in a long time, my love.” He smiles. “I suppose. I can’t imagine it being very comfortable sleeping in a coffin.” I tease as I tap his nose, making him laugh.
“Or maybe it’s because I got to sleep next to the one I love, dear.” I then start to blush, making him giggle at me. “Oh, shut it.” I say as I pull him to me and kiss him. He deepens the kiss as he carefully moves on top of me. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him a little closer.
A few moments go by before he pulls away and I catch my breath. Looking deep into his eyes, I bring my hands to each side of his face and smile. “Amora-”
“I love you. You don’t have to worry about me so much, okay? What did I tell you last night?” I ask, and he brings a hand up to my arm. I notice him hesitating, so I let out a small sigh.
“Hey, I promise you it’s perfectly okay. I trust you.” I say as I smile to him. “I just don’t want to break your trust, love.”
“You won’t! The only way you can ever break my trust is if you force yourself onto me. I know that you won’t.”
“I would never.” He answers. “I know that. Another way would be if you ever cheated-”
“Love, just stop. I would never dream or even think about cheating on you. Don’t ever think otherwise. Got it?”
“As long as you promise me you won’t keep thinking you’ll hurt me, because I know you won’t!”
“Alright, it’s a deal.” He smiles, and I return it. Kissing me once more, he sits up and gets out of bed. “Alright, love. I’m going to go bathe before we go anywhere.” I blush as he turns to me, and he laughs again. “How I love it when you blush, my dear.”
“You make me blush on purpose, don’t you?!” I laugh as well. “Only because you are so adorable, love.” He leans down to give me one more kiss before leaving the room.
Trying to figure out what to do now, I decided to go out into the kitchen to make something. Looking around at my options, I pull out some chicken to make Szechuan chicken and rice. I pull out some peppers and begin chopping them up and get everything else ready.
Just as I finished and turned the stove off, I feel him place his hands to my arms, startling me. “A little warning would be nice, you scared me!” I hear him laugh as he looks over my shoulder to look at me. “I apologize, I didn’t mean to scare you. What are you doing, love?” I then look up at him.
“I wanted to make something for you before we leave. As a ‘thank you’ for helping me last night. Then you’ll be doing who knows what for me today, I just wanted to do something at least.” He then brings his hands around my stomach.
“Love, you don’t have to thank me or do anything for me. As long as I have you, I’m perfectly fine. I’m taking you out today, so I can give you a day you can be happy about. Also, because I love you, and I want to be the reason you’re happy.”
