I was 16 years old when I was offered to stay at an old house that had been abandoned some time ago, though it was still furnished. It definitely needed a lot of work done to it, but I managed to get it done myself.

I remember the day I was finally able to go home. I was so ready to see my family once again, but that wasn't able to happen. I was told the manor was under attack, and the house had burned down.

Everyone, even my baby brothers were killed. This had happened about a month before I was able to be out on my own. I was devastated when I found out, and of course I was in disbelief, so I somehow got a ride to the Phantomhive Manor to see for myself.

It was like I was living in a complete nightmare and it was impossible to ever escape. The house was in ruins, and everything was in fact burned down. I walked off in quite a bit of a distance when I found our family's cemetery.

There it was, the graves of Vincent Phantomhive, Rachel Phantomhive, and my baby brothers. I broke down crying, why was all of this happening? It doesn't make any sense.

"I'm sorry, mother. I'm sorry, father. I wish I was able to stay with you. I promised I would keep my brothers safe, but I failed! Maybe if I was still with you, things would have been different." I looked over to the side and seen another grave that was never there before. I got a closer look to see who it had belonged to.

(Y/N) Phantomhive
March 4, 1869 - June 1881

"What?! How could this be?! Everyone thinks I'm dead?!" But I was still very much alive! What did they do, just buried me without a body? "I'm sorry, mother and father. For the last 4 years you all believed I was dead. But I am still here. I can only imagine the pain you all must have felt. I don't know what I am supposed to do now. I wish you could help me, or I wish I could have helped you! This wasn't supposed to happen!"

I looked through all the graves, noticing Tanaka wasn't one of those who died. That gave me just a glimmer of hope, that just maybe I could somehow find him. Maybe if I do find him, he could help me out somehow, that I am not dead like everyone else thinks. If I remembered where the Marquessate of Midford Manor was, I would most certainly go there immediately. But unfortunately I didn't remember the way. I don't even know where my other aunt lives or the rest of my relatives, and worst of all, I didn't even know how to contact Her Majesty.

For the last 2 years I never gave up on looking for Tanaka. I fixed up my house and decided I would pursue my dreams. I started working at a bakery, even though it wasn't my own. However, it soon will be as the current owners will be retiring soon. They have really been impressed with my work there, and my talent in baking. So much so, that they will be leaving the shop in my hands once they retire.

I've even saved up enough money to buy myself a new camera, so I've been taking a lot of photos of the bakery treats and of anything else I could photograph on my free time.

I was almost done with my shift when the next worker, Edith, came in with some candy. "Hey, (Y/N)! Have you tried the new Funtom candy? They are so good!" She says as she hands me one. "Funtom candy? I've heard about a new company opening up, but I never knew what they were selling."

"They opened up a while ago! It's already a popular confection and toy manufacturer owned by the Earl Ciel Phantomhive!" Edith explained excitedly. "Wait, what?! Ciel Phantomhive?! But he died over 2 years ago!"

"Where have you been? Didn't you hear he came back over a year ago?!" I was completely shocked. My little brother is alive after all, and I never even heard about it?! "What about the other one? His brother? And where is he living now?!"

"As far as I know, his brother is still dead, and I heard he had restored the Phantomhive Manor somehow. Though, I couldn't tell you where it is at. Why do you ask?" I quickly take a piece of the Gateau Chocolat cake, placing the right amount of money on the counter, clocking out from my shift and immediately ran out of the shop. I got in the Hansom Cab that was waiting for me and I instructed him to take me to the Phantomhive Manor.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I had arrived. The house looked exactly the same as before, like it had never been burned down in the first place. How did he manage to rebuild it so perfectly, and in such a short amount of time? I walked up to the door with the cake in hand. Nothing has changed with the place, a part of me was expecting one of our old servants to open the door, and that I would see our parents again. But I knew that would never happen, but then... If it is true, Ciel came back, so why couldn't our parents too?

Before I could even knock on the door, somebody opened it for me. Who I saw looked very similar to my father, making me freeze in place. However, there were a couple little details about him that made me realize it wasn't him. He didn't have the birthmark under his left eye, and his eyes were red. A demon. "Can I help you, miss?" His voice breaks me out of my thoughts. "Y-yes. I'm here to see the Earl Ciel Phantomhive."

"Oh? I hadn't been informed that he was expecting any visitors. Can I ask who you are, and how you know my young lord?" He asked, a bit surprised. "You ask for my name, when you haven't introduced yourself to me, either? Where are your manners? Please just let me see him, it's important!"

"Very well, miss. Come on in." He says as he steps aside. "My name is not miss. It's Lady (Y/N)."

"My apologies, my lady. I hadn't realized you were of nobility, especially seeing the clothes you are wearing. I am the head butler here, please call me Sebastian." Sebastian? That used to be our dog's name. He leads me up the stairs and to a room of which I had recognized as father's study, or office. He then knocks on the door. "Come in." We heard a voice say, and Sebastian opens the door. "What is it, Sebastian?"

"Pardon me, my Lord. There is someone here to see you." Sebastian says, as I stay directly behind him, my heart pounding inside my chest.

"Well, who is it?" I take in a deep breath as I walk around Sebastian, and look at my baby brother.
