We made it home and locked up all the doors. Once we were in the living room, I turn to face him and wrap my arms around his neck as I pull him into a passionate kiss.
As he wraps his arms around my hips, I slowly bring my hands down to his arms and carefully guide us towards the couch. Once we reached it, I sit down, bringing him with me as I lay down.
We continued to kiss for about a minute before he breaks the kiss and looks into my eyes. “Amora. I love you so much, but I can’t do this right now. You are not an object to be played with, that’s not what I want you for. Not because I won his game, but because I want you. I want to marry you, and spend the rest of my life with you! God forbid should either of us leave this world, my only wish is that we’d go together. I don’t want to know a day without you, and I don’t want you to feel the pain of losing me. I don’t ever want you to hurt because of me.”
“Baby-”
“I love you. I just, need to go lay down. I didn’t get much sleep, then having to go through everything that just happened today... I need to get a little rest.”
“My darling, I understand. I love you too, more than anything. Go ahead and get some rest.” I smile before giving him another kiss. “What about you, my dear?” He questions. “I’ll be just fine. I’ll find something to occupy myself with, maybe find a book to read.”
“Aren’t you tired?” He asks sweetly. “I am, but I don’t think I’d be able to sleep. I’ll just relax out here.”
“Alright, baby. If you hear anything unusual, please come let me know. I don’t want anything to happen to you.”
“I’ll be just fine, alright? But I promise I’ll let you know if I do.” I answer. “Thank you.” He gives me a loving kiss before he gets up and heads to the bedroom.
I try finding a book to read, but nothing was catching my interest. Not knowing what else to do, I make my way into the kitchen and make some tea. As I wait for the water to boil, I decided to wash the bedding from last night and load them into the washer before checking back on the water.
As I finished making my tea, I walk back into the living room and take a look around, deciding to clean up our place to pass time.
After about an hour or so, I had cleaned the entire living room, kitchen and even the bathroom. I then put the sheets into the dryer before walking back to the living room and take a little break.
Making it back to the couch, I suddenly come to a stop. I had always thought it was a little strange how he had the couch sitting, so I decided to move it down, and rearrange a few things.
Once I got everything moved, I slide the couch down and made a shocking discovery. There was a small fireplace and mattress that had been hidden behind the couch. This whole time he had a cute little fireplace, and he never uses it?!
I continue to slide the couch down some more before fixing up the mattress. This would make for a lovely romantic night. Lay down in front of a fire and snuggle up with each other.
I was starting to become excited. With everything that we had been going through lately, we can really use a night like this. And I especially wanted to do something like this for him.
I look around for any extra blankets and set them down on the mattress. I then find some gentle cleaning supplies and dust off the fireplace and clean it up some.
