Once we got all the boxes into the bedroom and onto the bed, I take off the shirt he let me wear and climb into bed and cover up with the nice fluffy blankets. He gives me a smirk before jumping onto the bed and climbs over me. “If I didn’t know any better… I think you’re purposely trying to tease me tonight, beauty!” He chuckles as he gives me yet another kiss! “Am not! I thought I was supposed to be as comfortable as can be, and this is the most comfortable! Am I not allowed to be undressed?!” I tease.
“Of course you are allowed to, baby. I was just teasing you. In fact, if I had it my way… I would have you like this all the time!” He barely whispers the last part before kissing me again. “That doesn’t surprise me at all. Come on, open your gifts already!” I laugh as I push him off of me. He sits himself beside me and covers up as well, as he had also completely undressed and takes a look at all the gifts.
“Where do I even begin?! Honey, you have really outdone yourself this time! You did not need to get all of this for me!” He exclaims as he looks at everything on the bed. “It’s really not that much, but I wanted to celebrate your birthday somehow!” I say cheerfully. “Spending time with you is all I ever need, sweetheart. But you are the first and only one I’ll ever allow to celebrate my birthday with me. I suppose I’ll start with the card first.” He smiles as he reaches for it and opens it up to read it.

I study his face as he reads through the card, watching his smile grow with each passing second. When he finishes, he looks at me before placing a kiss to my cheek. “Thank you, sweetie. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, honey. Now open your gifts!” I giggle. He opens up the first box revealing the jars of roses. “Paper… roses? Love, did you make these?!” He questions in amazement. “I did!! Do you like them?” I ask hopefully. “Like them?! I love them! Very crafty!”
