“Marry my best friend to a reaper?” She scoffs as she looks back at Adrian. I noticed him stiffen up and my heart began racing. “Not only a grim reaper, but a rogue reaper known as Adrian Crevan?”

“H-how do you know-”

“The grim reaper dispatch managed to find information regarding his actual name. They’re hoping by retrieving that information, they could track down where he’s at. But to your luck, they found out nobody has been using that name.”

“Tori-”

“Oh, don’t worry, Adrian. I am not like the rest of my family, just as Amora is nothing like her family. I will never say a word to anyone about you.” She sneers as she walks up to him.

“Tori-”

“I’ll let you on a little secret. I heard every. Single. Word. On your conversation with her. I do not appreciate the way you treated her! And to hear she is pregnant with your child!?” She then forcefully pokes him in the middle of his chest.

“That is your miracle baby, am I not correct?! As she’s never had her cycles?! You should be treating her with the utmost respect!” She shouts as she pushes him backwards. “Tori, that’s enough!” I yell out.

“She is my best friend, I would never. Take away anything that makes her happy! You’re dating her, you should know the hell she has gone through! She only ever deserves all the happiness in the world, and you should very well agree to that if you truly love her!”

“Tori!”

“Adrian Crevan, if you ever, and I mean ever treat her like that again or hurt her I swear to god, I will make you pay! I may not ever say a word about you to anyone, but I will make you pay, myself!”

“Tori, please, stop it!” I say as I push her back. She looks at me before looking back at him. “That goes to say, for her, I will gladly marry you two. However!” She then looks back at me. “As you said to him, it has to be outside of London. Do you have a particular place in mind?” She asks as she looks between the two of us, and I look over at Adrian, and he does the same to me. I can see the hurt and guilt in his eyes.

“South Milton Sands. One of the most beautiful places for such a gorgeous bride.” He smiles. “The weather is supposed to be perfect tonight. What better than a gorgeous sunset at an ocean beach?” He asks adoringly to me.

That is how you are to be treating her, Mr. Crevan. Very well, South Milton Sands it is. I’ll be here at 8 o’clock to help fix her up. Don’t worry about a dress, I will take care of that.” She then looks at him once more. “You as well. I’ll take care of the suit. But you must promise me you will never act like that towards her again! Or even hurt her in any shape or form!”

“I deeply apologize to you, Tori. And you, Amora.” He says as he looks back at me. “My greatest love. I have no excuse for my actions. You are carrying my baby. Our greatest blessing. I shouldn’t have acted that way. I am terribly sorry, baby girl. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me?” He asks as he takes my hands.

“I’ll forgive you.” I say quietly, and he leans down to give me a gentle kiss. “Alright. I’ll be back in under 8 hours.”

“Thank you so much, Tori! You have no idea how much this means to me! To us!”

“Like I said, you deserve happiness.” She smiles to me. She gives him one final warning look before making herself disappear.

Placing the item, back in the box, I put it away before looking back at Adrian. He just stood there, looking in the opposite direction. Still feeling the sharp pain in my chest, I walk past him and up the stairs before heading to my bedroom.
