After changing into a red sweater and a nice black skirt, I put on some socks and my cute black buckled boots and dig around for another wig to wear. Deciding on a dark brown one, I put it on, fix it up a bit and put on another set of earrings and the locket he had made for me before I meet Adrian in the living room.
“You look as beautiful as ever, my love.” He says as he walks up to me, pulling me into him and giving me a kiss. “Thank you.”
“I will say, it’s certainly going to be... Different taking you out, seeing you with different colored hair.” He teases, making me giggle. “Are you ready then?”
“I am.” I smile. “Are you sure you don’t want to grab a light jacket? I don’t want you getting too cold, doll.” He says as he places a finger to my cheek. “I’ll be fine. Besides, I don’t have a jacket here. The one I was wearing the other day was Luna’s. I’m sure she’ll be needing that when she goes to work.”
“Very well. Let me know if you do get cold, alright? Let’s make our way out.” Taking my hand, we make our way out and into the city.
“So... Where is it you plan on taking me?” I ask after a while as we walk down the streets of London. “Well, I would probably ask if you’d be up for coffee, but that is a no. So how about tea? And perhaps a desert to go with it?” He asks as he looks down at me, with that adorable smile of his.
“Mm, that sounds lovely. I can go for something sweet.” I answered back. “Yeah? I got my something sweet right here.” He says before leaning down to kiss my cheek as he attempts to pull me into his side. I immediately begin laughing as his breath was actually tickling against my neck, and he catches me from falling over.
We were both laughing incredibly as he stands me back up. He places an intimate kiss to my lips before we continue on our way. “I love you immensely, Amora.”
“I love you immensely as well, Adrian.” With one more kiss, he takes my hand again and leads me inside the coffee shop we had arrived at.
We reached the counter, and a barista was already ready to take our order. “What would you like, love?” He asks as he turns to me. “Umm... Peppermint tea will be fine.”
“And a desert?” I look around at what they have to offer, and they all looked too good to decide on. I then look back up at him and smile. “Surprise me?” Placing a hand to the small of my back, he places our order and pays.
“Why don’t you find a nice table outside, and I’ll be right out in just a minute?” He asks as he smiles over at me. “Alright. I’ll be waiting.”
“Just keep safe, alright? I won’t make you wait too long.”
“Alright, I will.”
Walking outside, I find a nice table over by some trees and went over to sit down. Taking a look at my surroundings, there were quite a few couples that appear to be on a date as well.
I look over to the side and admire the beautiful scenery of the river in the distance, with the fall colored leaves surrounding everything. It was quite captivating.
Once I was brought back to reality, I noticed Adrian hadn’t made his way out yet. Where on earth could he be? Or better yet, what on earth is he doing?! Just as I was about to get up to look for him, I finally saw him walking out with the drinks.
“I apologize it took a bit longer than expected. The treats will be out shortly, they had to make some more.” He explains as he sits down across from me. He then hands me my tea. “Thank you. So what did you end up ordering?”
