Riley rushed to the common room after the row she had with Lily. She thought Lily had common sense, she didn't know it was a scheme against her. Snape was constantly trying to prove himself innocent while he clearly was not.

She also thought about how Snape might find out about Remus' secret if he's trying to unravel secrets. She wished she had told them about Snape's accusations before so that they wouldn't learn in a Potions class in front of everyone.

She also hated the fact that she would have to share a dorm with Lily. It would mean she would have to talk to her, or Marlene, Mary, and Dorcas would also support Lily, all of them turning against Riley. She always felt like the outcast in that dorm room. It was like everyone was friends since they were two and Riley was just forcefully sent next to them. She also had a few friends back at home, one of them being Penny.

Penny had a twin brother, who looked nothing like her. His name was Ethan. The three of them were the same age, they met when they were three when the twins moved to the town. Riley told them she was sent to a boarding school in Scotland, where Ivy also went. They were muggles and they weren't allowed to know about magic. The three were inseparable when they were together and they accepted each other as who they were.

There were a lot of kids in town but Riley had trouble befriending them. Once she met a boy named Cole. He was a year older than her but she was only seven at the time. They were friends, or at least Riley thought. Cole started acting distant when Riley's aunt died. She didn't give it much thought then but now she realized she hadn't talked to Cole since she was eight.

Lastly, there was a girl named Vicky. Riley always thought she would be a real friend. She trusted her to not let her down but instead she got bullied. For the freckles on her face, for the way she dressed, for the way she acted... They were 10, the year before she went to Hogwarts. This also meant the last year in her muggle school. They became friends in a simple math class. It was like a mask Vicky must have been wearing that day, blocking her inner thoughts and inner feelings. She started rumors about Riley, everyone in school turned against her. It even led to her getting punched in the face by some people in her class. She never told this to Ivy nor her parents, she didn't want to make a huge fuss.

She took the same blue inked pen and the paper and started writing again. She went with the flow, writing whatever came to her mind.

"Did Snape really say that?" a voice said. Riley looked up to see Remus Lupin. "Did he figure it out?"

"I don't think he figured it out, he thought I was a werewolf," Riley said.

"What did you say to him, except slapping him, which, I think was great he must've deserved it."

"He called me a mudblood, as usual. And he didn't back down, he just kept talking shit about me and werewolves so I was frustrated, and I have no regrets. I don't get why Evans keeps defending him..."

"Her loss. Snivelly is getting on my nerves lately, he's out of his mind for that quill prank."

"I'm sorry," Riley broke the awkward small talk. She hated it.

"For what?"

"For just blurting it out in Potions, I know you're sensitive about this and I didn't mean to just talk about it there but—"

"Evans was a git."

"Yeah... she kept pressuring me and I couldn't stand there without saying anything in my defense," Riley said. "What is she Snape's lawyer?"

"She'll understand eventually, that he's an arse."

"I hope so..."

"I think so."

"Potter scores increasing Gryffindor's points to a total of 90! Hufflepuff remains at 40!" Sadie announced. It was the final quidditch match of the year before summer. This year, Hufflepuff was surprisingly very good and Slytherin ended up being third while Ravenclaw was last. This match determined the winner of the cup and the pitch was divided into two; bright red flags the Gryffindors were holding with red and gold face paint and cheering Hufflepuffs with yellow and black posters.

"Not gonna lie, gonna miss commentating for quidditch! I very much liked this position and since it is my last year at Hogwarts— HUFFLEPUFF SCORES!" Sadie shouted as the Hufflepuff's scored. "Dalton missed that one, letting the quaffle in the hoop, bet the Ravenclaw keeper wouldn't miss that if we weren't last because of the filthy Slytherins— sorry professor!"

Riley hit the bludger out of Jade's way. Elliana scores as the Hufflepuff seeker was distracted. James was also fighting with the Hufflepuff's to take the quaffle out of their way.

"Felicity Jones, who took Davis' place this year, what a git he was— I mean, she is chasing the snitch! The Hufflepuff seeker Hudgeons better follow her if he doesn't want to lose when they have the chance!" Sadie said with her loud and excited voice. McGonagall kept sighing deeply as she commented something biased towards anyone, nobody really knew why she was the commentator for the third year in a row.

"JONES TOOK THE SNITCH! GRYFFINDOR WINS!" Sadie announced. "It's not the first time we're seeing them hold the enormous silver cup in three years in a row! I guess this ends my last match as the commentator, I'm sure you'll all miss me so much—" Sadie kept talking but McGonagall swiftly took the microphone out of her hands to avoid more 'unnecessary talking.'

As usual, there was a massive party in the Gryffindor common room. Some seventh years managed to sneak in some fire-whiskey and butterbeer, Peter and Marlene stole snacks from the kitchens and the music was playing at full volume.

"Alright people, to mischief!" James said as he held pumpkin juice in his hands.

"Are you seriously pretending you have a drink in your hand while you have juice?" Remus asked as he laughed.

"Maybe..."

"To mischief!" Sirius interrupted them as he took out his wand and fired red sparkles.

"We have to promise we will never, ever, stop these pranks, not even when we are seventeen!" James said.

"Nerd," Remus said. "But yes!"

"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good!" Riley said loudly.

"I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good..." they all repeated as they fired red sparkles into the air.
