Riley sat in Three Broomsticks as she sipped the Butterbeer she was holding. James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius were also there.

"Ugh, I have detention with Sprout today!" Sirius said. "And it's all your fault!" he pointed at Remus.

"How did you manage to get detention from Sprout?!" asked James. "She never gives detention."

"Because of Moony, of course!" Sirius said. "We were planning to set dungbombs in the Green Houses but Remus heard Sprout come before me and just left me there!"

"It was so funny," Remus said as he laughed.

"It was a mistake, teaching you how to prank people. You're more evil than us!" said Peter.

"Thanks!" said Remus with a smile. "I also did prank you on Christmas, that was even better."

"What did you do on Christmas?" asked James as he turned to Riley. Riley remembered all the things that happened that night.

"Uh— it was a bit weird— my friends had a huge fight," she said.

"On Christmas?" said James. "Who argues on Christmas?"

"Oh, believe me, it wasn't just an argument. They are twins—"

"Wait, didn't Penny have a twin?" asked Remus. "I thought those two were getting along well."

"Who's Penny?" asked Sirius. Remus didn't answer. Instead, Riley smiled and looked at Remus.

"One of my best friends, but also Moony knows her quite well," she said. Remus rolled his eyes. "Since they dated for like two weeks until he broke up with her..."

"What?!" Sirius said loudly. "When did that happen?!"

"We were thirteen!" said Remus. "It was 1973..."

"Oh," Sirius said, sort of relieved.

"Why do you care so much?" said Peter. "It's not like he cheated on someone." Sirius rolled his eyes and frowned.

As they talked and laughed, Riley felt the happiest she had ever felt in a very long time. She trusted these four people, she forgot about what was happening out in the world at those moments. She then saw someone come their way and shifted in her seat. It was Horace Slughorn walking around with a smile on his face. Talking to Madam Rosmerta and all the other people he saw there.

"Oh! Just who I was looking for!" he said as he came over to their table. The five friends just looked at him confusedly.

"I'm assuming that's me," Sirius said confidently. "Considering I'm your best student!" Slughorn just stared at him.

"Mr. Black, I really wouldn't say you are my best student according to grades," he said sweetly. Sirius laughed but then as everyone looked at him, he stopped suddenly. "Ms. Spade, I was wondering why you haven't been attending the Slug Club's meetings," he asked with a concerned tone.
