"I still can't believe it," said Peter

"I still can't believe it," said Peter. "I can't believe you two have been dating for so long."

"Oh my god — remember the time when Sirius kissed Remus in between fourth and fifth year when for truth or dare?" said James.

Remus and Sirius sat nervously. Remus kept fidgeting with his hands, Sirius laughed nervously every time someone said something.

"Yeah, I gotta admit I'm sorta relieved," said Remus. "But I think it would've been better if we had the chance to tell it properly," he said and looked at Riley.

"I knocked on that door so many fucking times!" said Riley angrily. "Yet nobody opened it, and I had to see  — that!"

"We didn't hear it!" said Sirius.

"Were you two too busy? You probably were..." said Riley sarcastically. Remus and Sirius blushed.

"Since when?" asked James. "I can't believe we haven't noticed anything."

"Since fifth year—" said Sirius.

"Really?!" exclaimed Lily. "I'm happy for you both."

"Thanks, Lil," said Remus.

10th of March, 1978

Remus and Sirius surely looked relieved to get the secret out.

Nothing much happened between the two months, except for the news on the Daily Prophet making everyone terrified, especially Riley. She never wanted to read what was written on the paper, she feared the time of the day when the owls started dropping in the newspapers to each table in the Great Hall.

"Moony!" yelled a voice in the common room. "Moony!"

"I'm perfectly capable of hearing you, Padfoot, no need to yell," said Remus as he rolled his eyes.

"Catch!" said Sirius and threw a book he was holding at the couch Remus and Riley were sitting on. James was almost lying on the ground, playing with the golden snitch. Peter sat in the armchair with his feet resting on the table.

The book went far away, Riley stretched her arm out and caught the book before it fell on the ground.

"That's for Moony, not you," said Sirius.

"I know, idiot," said Riley. "You literally threw it to Hogsmeade instead of Moony, though."

"Maybe I should make you keeper and find another person for beater," said James dreamily. Riley rolled her eyes and gave the book back to Sirius who handed it to Remus softly.

"Awe, thanks," said Remus. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them — are you kidding me?" he said and held the book up.

"No, just read it," said Sirius and Peter laughed. Sirius shot him a look and he went quiet.
