|135| Harry Potter

31st of July, 1980

Riley was woken up by someone poking her. She slowly opened her eyes, wondering who it was.

Then she remembered she lived alone.

"ARGH!" she screamed, then accidentally fell off the bed in horror. Riley looked up, seeing Sirius and Remus. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

"We have to go, come on!" said Remus nervously.

"What — why?"

"Lily's giving birth!" exclaimed Sirius. "I'm about to be a godfather!"

Riley's jaw dropped, then told the two to leave so she could change quickly. She took the first thing she saw in the wardrobe — a bright yellow t-shirt that she had no idea she had.

Then, she took floo powder, went downstairs along with the two boys.

"Potter Manor!" said Sirius, going first as green flames sparked from the fireplace. Riley went second, and arrived at the Potter Manor.

They were greeted by Marlene who hugged them cheerfully.

"Baby Prongs on the way!" said Peter from behind. Mary yawned widely, making everyone feel a bit sleepy. Riley noticed the time was only five in the morning.

"Where's James?" asked Sirius.

"He's in there with Lily," said Mary. "Dorcas is also there, along with another healer."

Then they sat in the couch simultaneously, waiting nervously. Riley couldn't believe it, Lily and James were having a baby right that moment. It seemed unreal, she remembered them being eleven year olds who weren't even friends. Now, they were a family.

The door was opened as Dorcas and the healer came out.

"How is she?" asked Marlene. "How's Lily?"

Dorcas smiled. "She's doing perfectly fine. Fast delivery, the baby is healthy," she said with a big smile. Everyone sighed in relief.

"Is it a boy or girl?" asked Peter.

"I think they can tell you themselves," said Dorcas. The healer nodded and slowly left the Potter Manor. Dorcas changed into comfortable clothes, then grabbed a cup of tea.

The door burst open after a short time. It was James, smiling proudly. They had never seen him this happy before, he was almost jumping around.

"It's a boy!" he said excitedly.

James hugged everyone one by one out of excitement and shock. Then, they went in the room slowly and quietly.

Lily was holding their baby boy in her arms, crying quietly as she looked at him. She had a small smile on her face, she looked exhausted.

"Oh my god..." whispered Sirius as he looked at the sleeping baby. "He is adorable."

Riley covered her mouth with her hands, gasping quietly as she looked at the baby. Lily looked at them all and nodded.

"You did it," said Mary. "He looks... beautiful."

Lily giggled quietly and looked back down at the baby. James sat right next to her and put his arm around Lily, giving a small kiss on her head.

"Have you decided on a name?" asked Remus softly.

Lily and James nodded. "Harry. Harry Potter."

Riley came back home from another death eater meeting she had spied on. She dropped her coat on the floor and let out a small sigh.
