CHAPTER 6

Jisoo P.O.V

We all (Jennie, Lisa, Rosè, Nayeon and me) are in a taxi heading to Nayeon's house.
We reached the house and she asked Rosè and me "Why does mom always choose her work over me?"

I had no reply to that and I said "Your mom umm told me that she will send you a lot many candies and a sorry letter tomorrow" I said

"Oh no! She told me not to tell it to you" I said putting my hand over my mouth as if I were shocked. (Faking it)

"Really?" she asked
"No no I can't tell" I said smiling and making a teasing face
"Please tell no" she said making a sad face
"Fine, I will tell you, yes she will send candy and I will bring it for you. Don't tell her I told you!" I said
"Ok" she said smiling

"How will she feel when she knows?" Rosè asked me whispering
"I have no idea but I am sure she will feel sad about the lie" I said
"Auntie, I want to sleep, I am tired" Nayeon said. I took her to my bedroom and put her to sleep.
I was lost in my own thoughts after everyone including my assistants went to sleep. I was so lost that I forgot that I had to make dinner.

1 hour later,
"Unnie!" Jennie said as she cam down the stairs followed by Lisa and Rosè
No reply from me.
"Unnie" Rosè screamed
No reply from me.

"Yah! Unnie!!" Lisa screamed
"Oh hey! You woke up!!" I said coming out of my thoughts.
"What's wrong Unnie?" Jennie asked
"Nothing" I said wiping off my tears
"You don't forget anything..." Jennie said

"Ya! The world would end and still you would remember you had to cook dinner." Rosè said
"It was my turn today??" I asked
"Yes duh!" Lisa said
"What is wrong Unnie?" Lisa asked
"Nothing" I said
"Don't you trust us??" Rosè asked

"I do, why would I not?" I said
"Then tell us" Jennie said
"About what?" I asked pretending I do not know anything
"WHAT IS WRONG?" Jennie said

"Fine. You win. I was just thinking about Irene" I said looking towards the window
"What about Irene?" Jennie asked
"Just about how heartless the killer was..." I said with a tear coming out of my eye
They all ran towards me and hugged me as if I were their teddy bear.

"We will catch him" Jennie said trying to give me some hope.
"What do you except?" I asked
"We will find him" I said in a strong voice
"Auntie!" my little baby said running down the stairs with the brightest smile on earth

"Aww come here" I said smiling or at least faking one.
"Were you crying auntie??" She asked
"No" I said. How could she even know that? Like even Jennie could not know. Wow! I am indeed surprised.

"Then why is your nose red?? My mommy says that when someone's nose is red, it means they are telling lies." She said making a sad face
"Oh umm no- uh it is uh.. uh-uh hot ya that's what it is. It is hot and that is why my nose is red" I said kinda stuttering...a lot
"Are you sure?" she asked making a detective type face with her chin up
"Yes very much sure." I said smiling with my hands up.
