The Battle Begins

Haza'dur grins as he watches his skeleton army prepare for a invasion of Shintaro as soon as he possible. The munce and geckles were all being worked to the bone and they did not even get to eat or take a break without being whipped at.

"Leave them alone! Once my family gets here I'm gonna break free of you!" Kai yells from inside his mind.

The green skull laughs at him and Kai mentally screams in pain from the evil energy that was sent through him. "Oh I'm counting on it. That boy's mother killed my dreaded dragon and me in the process. Now I will destroy her son with the power you possess," Haza'dur laughs while Kai can do nothing, but wait for a opportunity to strike.

Up Above

The Shintaro Royal guards were preparing for battle below, but the ninja were unsure if they were actually needed. They didn't want to provoke a attack from Haza'dur on Shintaro, but they also needed to get down there to go and save the geckles and munce.

Cole's mind was entirely thinking of how to rescue his husband and deal with Haza'dur for good. "If we go in blazing it would be a massacre we need to take a stealth approach," Lloyd suggests. "But what about the dragon? We need to deal with it so it doesn't get in the way not just destroy it because until we defeat that stupid skull it will just be brought to life again and waist our time and energy," Nya said and everyone in the war room nodded in agreement.

The war room had not been used for well, war in a long time. Due to the difficulty in getting to Shintaro no one has tried to overthrow it before so the city had never actually seen war despite their generous amount of highly trained soldiers. Each ninja was in the room with the Upply's, Vania, and the general Hailmar all gathered around a map of the mountain with marked caverns and entry ways.

"We need to take out the skull it's the one with the power here," Vania said. "But not even Kai can get rid of it. I am assuming it will not remove itself unless it wants too," Zane said. "But it's also key to note it is powerless without a host since it never did magic while being guarded by all those traps," Fungus said cheerfully, but serious too. Hailmar nods in consideration and looking at the map of the mountain.

"Well then the answer is obvious. Since the skull needs a host we get rid of the host," he said like it was the best and only option. The response he got to this was the glare of Cole starring daggers right into his soul as he gripped the generals shirt collar. "The host is my husband and if you even suggest that again I will make sure it is the last thing you ever utter, got it?" Cole asks deadly. The man returns the steely glare. "You will not talk to me like," He began. "A self absorbed boy playing soldier even though he's never seen a real battle? Sorry to break it too you, but that's what you are so just zip it got it?" Cole asks deadly as possible.

The Shintaro general open and closes his mouth more than once before looking to Vania. "We are not harming the red ninja under any circumstance," She said in a final voice. Hailmar nodded and Cole pushed him out of his way. "We are going to need the help of the munce and geckles. My plan is that us ninja and Upply's go in first for stealth. The Upply's will release the munce and geckles while the ninja deal with the skeletons. I will go after Haza'dur and free my firebird. The shintaro guards will not make a appearance until the skeleton dragon appears. I am going to make it clear now that I will deal with Haza'dur and if anything happens to Kai because of Shintaro's guards deciding to play hero than you will be personally dealing with me," Cole looks at all the Shintaran guards in the room who had been muttering about how Hailmar's plan was the best one.

They all nodded fearful of the earth ninja and Cole turns back to the others. "Suit up we leave in five,"
