For two ninjas who had taken part in many battles they were treating the attempted murder of one of their closest friends quite...oddly. Lloyd was being normal while Jay had found a smoking pipe that had frozen bubbles blow out and a old timey detectives hat and even a magnifying glass made from a stick and ice. "Where did you get the hat?" Lloyd asks. "I don't know," Jay answers smoking the pipe. "So to start witnesses?" Jay asked. "Unconscious," Lloyd said pointing at Kai unconscious by the fire as Echo watched over him. "Let's go to the scene of the crime," Jay said walking off and Lloyd following him. "You are treating the attempted murder of your brother-in-law kinda lightly," Lloyd comments. "It's how a true detective does things," Jay replies. They went to Kai's cabin that had been cleared off. Jay over dramatically inspected the cabin while Lloyd talked to a villager outside.
"Did Kai have any grudges with anyone?" Lloyd asks the male villager who's name was Dug. "Well to be honest most of the older folks hate him. They don't like him because they think of him as someone who's trying to become the next ice emperor. The rest of the adults do like him because he protected there children, the kids love him," Dug answers. Lloyd nodded in thought. "Did you see anyone running away from here?" Lloyd asks. "No sorry," Dug answers walking away since he was of no more help. "Lloyd!" Jay yelled and Lloyd ran in. "What?!" He asked. "Look!" Jay points to a patch of Kai's dried blood. "Kai's dried blood?" Lloyd asked. "No look it's shaped like a foot print," Jay said and Lloyd looked closer seeing indeed it was shaped like a foot print. It was facing the way Kai had been standing when stabbed to show he was attacked by the front. "Kai was attacked in front of him, but with all his training he should have been able to take out any villager," Lloyd said. "Yes, but look what I found!" Jay said holding up a bloody dagger. "It's the weapon," he smoked more bubbles. "Great," Lloyd said excited. "Yes, but who does it belong too? Who? Who? Who?" Jay asks inspecting the dagger. Lloyd sighed snatched the dagger from Jay and pointed to the writing in gold carving.
Turk
"Hehe I saw that," Jay said embarrassed. "Let's go and question Turk," Lloyd said with a deadpanned expression.
Cole POV
I woke up with a loud gasp. I was in a cave covered in ice and snow. "Where?" I began before looking at a giant foot print. I got a bad feeling than heard footsteps. I saw the shadow of the yeti. I hid behind a few ice pillars. He looked around probably for me when I hopped out and kicked him into the wall. He shook it off and growls so I threw a rock at a icicle it broke and fell on the yeti pinning him. "Ha you're not gonna eat me!" I taunted and I looked through the cave leaving the yeti pinned. I came to a room and found bunk beds. "How many of these things are there?" I asked myself than saw that all the blankets were only on one bed. "Just one I guess," I said and turned seeing. Burial mounds? He must be the only one left. But where's Krag? I looked around and saw something under the blankets. I pulled it out and looked at it and was shocked to see it was Kai's necklace! The one he gave to Krag wait the yeti is? "Oh I'm a idiot," I muttered to myself as the realization hit me.
I looked at a wall and saw a drawing of the mountain I assume is Krag the bigger stick figures sitting on top of the mountain and the smaller red stick figure is Kai. I heard Krag whimpering and I knew I needed to help him. I went back to the main cave entrance. I lifted the spire off him and he whimpers not from pain, but because he was scared. "Hey there look I'm sorry. I didn't know you were only trying to help I was a jerk," I said bending onto my knees as Krag opened one eye. "My names Cole are you Krag?" I asked and the yeti nodded his head sitting up. "You helped Kai didn't you?" I asked and Krag brightens at the name of my husband. "Well he's my husband and I thank you for helping him when everything seemed hopeless for him," I said. Krag was in wonder before hugging me tightly. Kai was not kidding he was a hugger, but it felt nice like hugging a furry puppy. He let me go and handed me a berry. "You want me to eat it?" I asked. He nodded with a smile. I sniffed it and refrained from barfing. I pretended to put it in my mouth when instead I put it in a back pouch. "Listen Krag Kai's hurt and in trouble. He needs both of us will you come and help him?" I asked holding my hand out. Krag seemed confused, then hesitant, than finally determined and grabbed my hand. Before smiling a pulling me into a bone crushing hug. God he could rival my strength. Now let's go help Kai.
