Half A Reunion

The man on the dragon throne had one leg and one arm with a top hat and a glowing eye as he walked over to them. "They don't look as I imagined," He said hitting Zane on the head. "Where did you find them?" He asks. A first realmer wearing a hat and cloth covering everything except one eye comes to the front of the group answering. "To the south in a fortification while hunting for water dragons we didn't find any," He explains in a robotic voice. "Water dragons?" Zane said in his usual questioning and curious manner. "Fortification is generous it is really more of a rickety shack with a few pieces of metal here and there," Jay said with a smile he hoped they would take as peaceful. The person stepped on his leg and pointed in a intimidating voice said. "Do I say you could speak?" Jay looks up at him with a questioning and kinda annoyed look. Another one with no bottom half and instead was walking around on metal spider legs came up from behind and informed the top-hat leader. "We took them by surprise there may be more of them,"

The top-hat guy looks at the three on the ground in chains who looked up at him each having zero clue who the other one was. One thing for sure the three ninja already hated him. "Is this true? Are there more of your kind?" He asks in a voice that reeked of deception. "Our kind?" Kai asks. "The way you say that is just so rude," Jay comments. "No!" Zane quickly interjects. "We are alone," He adds quickly it was almost one sentence. A girl with a black mohawk and metal wings on her back walks up and attention turns to her. "Then tell us. Who do these diapers belong too?" She asks holding up a diaper. "Those are Jay's. Right Jay?" Kai quickly answers turning to the lightning ninja. The lightning ninja shoots Kai a glare before quickly laughing it off nervous of all the attention on him. "I have a weak bladder," he answers and the whole room erupted in laughter once more. The man turned with his robotic arm held up his good hand clutching the staff he held.

"See how they lie? Their treachery? They cannot help it. it's in their nature," he then turns to them surprisingly quickly. "But there is one who they cannot deceive," He said. "Okay take it easy," Kai starts. "We shall throw them in the pit! But first are you sure you could not find any water dragons?" The man asks. The one with the robotic voice clearly second in command answers shaking their head. "We are sorry Iron Baron, but their are no water dragons to the south we are going hunting in the east next," He replies. Iron Baron as was apparently his name seemed troubled by this. "Go throw the oni into the pit," He orders and the room started chanting.

"Rock knows! Rock knows!"

All three chained ninja were hefted onto their feet being pulled out. "You are making a mistake!" Kai desperately tries to reason. "We are not oni," Zane adds to the reason. "Okay then off we go," Jay said as they were pulled along. As the ninja were pulled along their chain they looked around. The place looked like something out of a post apocalyptic dessert waist land. Some residents who were just hanging stopped to look at them along with those who were actually working. Some were banging metal while others were making it they all looked at them suspiciously and with hatred.

"They think we are oni," Kai whispers. "Yeah but I thought they were oni," Jay whispers back confused. "It appears this civilization is another species of the first realm," Zane whispers. As they continued walking Kai suddenly stopped and stood stone still. Zane bumped into him while Jay tripped on his chains. "Hey keep moving," The guy with the spider-legs orders impatiently. Suddenly Kai tackled the guy for his keys and got them getting the chains off him. "Kai what are you?" Zane asks. "He's in pain I need to help him," Kai said quickly. "Who's in pain?" Jay asks. Kai looks at them both crazy. "Don't you feel him? He's close I can tell," Kai then took of running leaving the keys with the others.

Kai ran past many hunters and came across a blacksmith shop and he saw a red dragon he thought he would never see again. "Flame!" Kai said and his dragon in question turned to him and roars happily seeing his old master. Flame was bigger since Kai had last seen him and had a longer neck that was wrapped in thick chains along with his wings. A hunter was poking him with a spear to make him spit fire into the forge for making and shaping metal. "You leave that dragon alone!" Kai yells and charged the hunter with the spear. He kicked her away since she was taken off guard and grabbed the spear from her and broke it in two. Flame nuzzled and licked Kai's face and Kai laughs. He had missed Flame so much because the dragon was more than a pet he felt like a part of Kai even when Kai got his water his go to power was always his fire it just felt more real and better for him then his water. Like sure he would use it when needed, but he always prefers his fire over his water any day of the week it was just a bigger part of him and Flame was apart of that part. Each ninja had a strong connection to their dragons and were able to tell when they were close or in danger and since fire was such a important part of who Kai identifies as he was able to tell with no problems even with his newer water abilities that Flame was near and needed him. "Yeah I missed you a lot too Flame I am gonna get you out of here don't you worry," Kai said he was about to melt the chains when one wrapped around his torso and pulled him back away from Flame who roars in outrage. Chains wrapped around Flame too until the dragon was confined to the ground. Kai struggles in the chains worried about Flame who was roaring in the direction of Kai.
