Cole X Kai

Move It!

Cole was not surprised by a lot of things in his life at this point, but this is something that does surprise him.

"Kai it's for the best," "Cole no," "can't we just talk about this?" Cole asks, but Kai shook his head.

"No Cole we are not moving!" Kai snaps while holding Lilly in his arms as he took her to get changed. Cole sighs through his nose knowing this conversation was going to be hard to bring up. "Kai I think it's for the best, as much as I love the others we never get to have any alone time as a family, the others always need to be there," Cole explains to his husband. "And? I don't see a problem with that," Kai said briskly.

"But Kai please just think about it?" Cole asks. "Not thinking," Kai states. Cole groans, he knows Kai's never really lived away from his friends in his life ever. At first he lived with Nya, than moved in with the ninja, and now just can't really think about leaving anyone he considers family. Cole had been thinking about this for awhile, but never really brought it up to him until now.

"Kai can't you just consider it? I mean the monastery does get attacked a lot so," Cole began being interrupted. "That's what the safe room is for," Kai responds quickly. "The triplets are going to need to go to preschool, didn't you say you wanted them to have a normal life?" Cole asks. "And they will, just.... It is going to work out babe," Kai said and Cole raises a eyebrow. Kai only calls him babe these days is to cosy him up and get what he wants.

"Kai," Cole began. "Come on honey-bear it's fine we don't need to move," Kai gives him puppy eyes and cuddles up to him. "Fire bird that's not going to work this time," Cole said and Kai frowns annoyed.

Cole sighs and decides on a different approach. "Okay Firefly how about we go look at homes tomorrow and then sleep on it?" Cole suggested. Kai seems hesitant so Cole comes behind giving Kai a big hug. "We can bring the kids and get ice cream after," He said.

"Hmmm okay fine," Kai agrees and Cole smiles. This was going to be perfect!

Next day

This was not going perfect. The two had worn their disguises and gave the triplets to Echo who was very eager and happy to watch them as always.

When they arrived at the first place the saleswoman was a nice middle aged lady a bit on the heavier side, but had a perfect sellers smile, formal pants, a expensive coat, a name tag, and a clipboard with the list of houses Cole wanted to check out. He's so glad there were so many on the market compared to the last time they were looking for a home in Ninjago. Besides in the areas Cole wanted to look at would be a ten or five minute ride of their dragons to the monastery for anything so they didn't need to worry about being too far.

"Hello my name is Hana and I'll help you look for a new accommodations. Are these your little ones?" She asks pointing to the stroller with the three sleeping babes in it. "No we stole them from a park," Kai said dryly and the nice lady blinks not expecting that reaction while Cole sent Kai a glare. "He's joking they are ours. He's just against the idea of moving," Cole explains and Hana gave her business smile again. "It's alright I've seen it all trust me," Cole liked this lady better than the last sales lady they had.

Cole told the budget Kai was shocked. "Since when do we have that much money?" Kai asks. "I've been saving up a fund, for you know, house, school, medical stuff," Cole explains. "And why haven't I been informed we have this fund?" Kai asks. Cole can just tell he's trying to pick a fight so they leave.

"Because it was originally for our wedding before the incident," Cole said and Kai rolls his eyes. "If I may ask what was this incident?" Hana asks. "None of your business," "play nice," Cole warns.

Hana gestures to the house behind them. "This house is sixty years old and has three stories, the basement, the main floor, and second floor, plus a attic," She explains and guides them inside the house.
