The ninja were all racing over to the museum before it closed for nightmare night so they could grab some lanterns. "I'm so gonna win!" Jay exclaims excitement clear as day. "No I am!" Kai responds cocky as he jumped over a rock on his bike laughing. "Your both losers!" Nya laughs racing past on her samurai X suit. "The museum is still five clicks away!" Lloyd said. "We need to break all speed limits if we want to get there on time!" Zane said. They all raced through the desert as the sun was setting. "I bet I'll win right babe?" Kai asked. When their was no response Kai tried again. "Cole?"

Cole was trying to grip the controls but was fading and panicking. "Oh no it was happening again," Cole panics. Kai slowed down to be near Cole then all of a sudden he almost ran Kai over. Kai yelled and drove out of the way barely in time. "Sorry I faded out again," Cole said. "It's okay just be more careful Rocky," Kai said. They got to the museum just in time to grab the lanterns all smiling.

"This is my favourite holiday I love all the lights," Nya said like a little school girl. "And the costumes," Kai adds gesturing to the kids walking by. "And the candy hey kid can I have one?" Jay asked a kid walking by who threw him some candy from his bag. Jay winks and eats it. "I love this day!" Jay said. "I love it because I get to scare people...mainly Kai," Cole adds the last part in a whisper and Jay snickers.

"You are not turning invisible and scaring me or I'll steal all your candy," Kai said playfully. Cole pouted and stuck his tongue out at his lover but smiled. "But let's not forget the true meaning of the holiday. To honour those who have passed," Wu said. "And to settle our debts while also spending time with the ones we love," Garmadon finishes for his brother.

"But mostly the candy right?" Jay jokes. Suddenly the museum curator doctor Sanders a man with a overly large moustache comes over and joins in. "It's also the grand opening of the hall of villainy!" He said over dramatically. "Yes that too," Misako said in excitement since the museum was practically her second home. "Come come for ninja you get special tour," Doctor Sanders said and they shrugged following him. They arrived in a hallway with every villain they had ever defeated(mostly).

"We have Chen, Samukai, Cryptor, Morro, Kozu, Pythor all the fun ones," Doctor Sanders laughs. "Not every villain," Cole mumbles. "Ahh yes! We still have so many more to unpack! The golden master, preeminent all the exciting ones that tried to kill you," Doctor Sanders said with so much joy it was really creepy. "Yeah fun," Jay jokes with fake enthusiasm. Cole walked over to the end of the hallway and saw it was dedicated to the one who made him a ghost in the first place. Cole really hated being a ghost for so many reasons. Sure two upsides were that he was better suited for stealth missions and he could sneak up on people and scare them or just turn invisible and watch Kai singing in the shower his voice really was a angles.

But they're were so many downsides as well. One he couldn't lift most things including his favourite hobby of carrying Kai around whenever he felt like it despite the protests, he sometimes felt invisible when he wasn't, he could die just by having a bucket of water poured on him, and he had to focus really hard to make any part of him solid for even a minute. He couldn't even give Kai a proper kiss because he had to focus. He didn't want to focus he just wanted to kiss the one he loves and enjoy every second of it he missed being human because he missed showers, he missed sparring with Kai while doing playful banter they couldn't do that because everyone didn't want Kai to accidently spray him with water, he missed weight lifting, and he missed holding Kai in his arms or lap and tracing circles on his chest while Kai played with his long hair. He also missed though would never admit it to anyone he missed having sex with Kai. Sure it made up a small part of their relationship but just feeling each others hands roaming over the others body and hearing his soulmate moan his name and making each other feel happy and wanted. He wondered if Kai missed it but was too embarrassed to ask.
