Cole X Kai

Other half of the renuion

(I know it's official cannon that Ultra-dragon is dead just want to put that out there, but none of them are dead in this story)

When morning came Kai was dragged from the tent and over to the others. Hunters were mocking him on how weak Kai was. Cole threw a rock at one of them and hit them in the head. They did not see who it was though and Cole could not do anything as Kai was tossed into the cage with the other two who not knowing what had happened to him in the time separated they were very worried about him.

"Kai how many snowflakes are in my palm," Zane asks as Kai opens his eyes slightly. "Why is it so bright? My head hurts," Kai answers closing his eyes and covering his eyes with his arm. "Is he okay Zane?" Jay asks Zane. "Cole what did they do to him?" Zane asks. "They forced his elements out of him and collected his water. I'm not sure if it's because he was using both powers at the same time or because they are opposite elements, but last I saw him he said a headache was forming. It's been all night," Cole answers worried for Kai, but could not give any physical help or he would look suspicious.

"I'm fine just," Kai pauses and went to the side of the cage and threw up a little through the bars. Zane scans him. "He has a severe mine-grain and the lack of food and sleep plus the dehydration has weakened his body I am surprised he is mentally stable. Just try and get some rest Kai and it should go away eventually," Zane advises. When hearing Kai needed food little Garmadon went over to a hunter and stole a piece of bread and water. He then ran back over and handed it to them through the bars. "Will this help?" He asks. Cole smiles at the helpfulness of the young boy it was hard he was technically the element of destruction. Zane took the small piece of bread he broke a small amount off for Jay who hungrily gulped it down. He gave the rest to Kai, since he did not actually need any food or water it was his choice if he should eat or not. Kai ate the bread and Zane slowly gave him the water.

"Feel better?" Cole asks. "Head still feels like I was stabbed through it every time I open my eyes," Kai answers. Cole might have laughed if under different circumstances, but this was serious at least they had Zane who was pretty much the doctor of the team. "Cole can you get me a strip of clean fabric?" Zane asks Cole.

Cole nodded and left for five minutes avoiding the hunters who were getting ready to go on the hunt for today to find what Zane asked for.

While Cole was gone Iron-Baron appears and mocks them mostly Kai. "You did good made enough water to last everyone three weeks too bad your too weak the make any more," Iron-Baron taunts banging the cage not helping Kai's mine-grain. "Want to open this cage and show you who's weak?" Kai challenges sitting up despite Zane trying to keep him down. "Your all trained in the arts of the First Spinjitzu Master quite a lucky fine especially water boy," Iron-Baron said. "I'm the fire ninja," Kai said weakly being ignored. "You've heard of him?" Jay asks. "I have heard his legend. The coward who fled to what was it? Dinjago?" Iron-Baron said. "It's Ninjago not very hard to pronounce," Zane corrects. "Do you know how to get back?" Jay asks.

"No and even if I did I would never help you. Especially when with water boy as long as I have him I provide water and as long as I provide water they all follow me," Iron-Baron said. "Your killing our brother though," Jay states. "Meh dragons expire your no different though you have lasted longer. Usually water dragons die within the first day always needing to be near water," Iron-Baron rolls his eyes. "What are you going to do to us?" Jay asks. "Don't you know power attracts power?" Iron-Baron asks mockingly then limps off shouting commands. Heavy-metal said something to a hunter that the ninja over heard.

"He's always like this before a hunt wondering if today is the day he will finally catch the ultimate catch," he said before climbing into the truck.

Cole came back with a strip of cloth and handed it through the bars. Zane wrapped it around Kai's eyes. "This should block out the light and I'm going to cover your ears with my hands to block out any sound while keeping you a regular temperature. Well regular for you," Zane explains. "Okay," Kai answers. "Just try and get some sleep firebird I'll break you all out the first chance I get," Cole promises his husband. "I'm fine Cole we all know I have had much worse," Kai calms his husband. "Yeah just wish I could help someway more. Make sure you get some rest," Cole said.
