Cole X Kai

Disapearance

(I updated the chapter terrible reception and I am sorry for the glitch that took out part of that chapter if it happens again please comment)

The ninja arrived in Ninjago to see most of it on fire. They blasted the fire serpents and doused them using Zane and Kai's powers. While fighting Kai tried using his fire multiple times, but never got more than a puff of smoke. He also had trouble with his water since his first reaction was his fire, so it made his blasts and come backs slower than usual.

When they dealt with the snakes they regrouped to make a game plan. "Okay we know Aspheera is after Wu and maybe dad, so some of us need to go to the monastery while the others try to take down Aspheera," Lloyd said. "Shouldn't we just try and fight her now? Besides Wu isn't at the monastery he's at Sensei G's place," Kai said. "Yes, but she would probably look at the monastery first so we should call Echo and Pixal to be ready for attack," Zane said. "They aren't at the monastery either Echo needed a new part or something I wasn't listening much," Kai explains. Cole looked at Kai with a realization. "Than who's looking after the triplets?" Cole asks. "Some kids who told me where you were," Kai answers. "You left our babies with random kids?!" Cole yelled at Kai. "Oh like you could do better on such short notice!" Kai back fires. "Guys! Focus crazy snake lady," Nya reminds them. "Yeah anyway we need to know where she is," Lloyd said. They thought and Jay saw a random kid running by. "Hey kid have you seen a golden snake lady with a bad attitude and a staff?" Jay asks the kid who stopped and looked. "Yeah she's at the history museum," He answers.

"Let's go then!" Kai said going ahead. Cole grabbed his shirt with a stern expression. "You promise not to do something stupid that could put you in danger?" Cole asks him. "Yes," Kai answers with a roll of his eyes.

They headed straight to the museum finding it filled with fire serpents. They were gonna attack, but Kai stopped them. "I kind of need to get back at these guys okay?" He said and the ninja let him go right along ahead. Let's just say what happened next involves a bathroom that blew up and what was the lobby of the museum being flooded and most of the fire serpents being taken care of rather quickly. "Did you get it out of your system honey?" Cole asks. Kai looked around. "Not even close," He said and walked in too to museum to find Aspheera.

They found what she had been looking for the scroll of spinjitzu. She opens it with wide excited eyes only for it to be blasted out of her hands. she turns and hisses seeing the ninja. "I should have killed you when I had the chance," She hisses. "And you shouldn't have messed with us," Kai said back. "Kill them!" Aspheera orders. The Pyro-vipers ran charging at them weapons raised. The ninja engaged in battle. Lloyd cut through them and grabbed the scroll from her and his eyes lit up green with his hair. Aspheera knocks him away and blasted him with fire only for a water shield to be put up by Kai. He blasted her with water and they started fighting for the staff.

"Just die you weak insect!" Aspheera hisses. "You took my powers that belong to me!" Kai's eyes glowed red as fire engulphed his head. "You do not deserve them," Kai yelled. "MY POWER WAS STOLEN FROM ME BECAUSE OF WHAT YOUR MASTERS DID!" Aspheera yells back. "Or what you failed to comprehend when you had enough power," Kai shot back. Aspheera's hands started becoming blue again as they wrestled for the staff. Then a black snake called Charred knocked Kai away and Aspheera regained her golden scales. She blasted her staff and buried the ninja in debris while she got away ordering some fire serpents to take care of them. Zane got a hand free though and took them out with his ice. Once they got out from under the debris it was clear where Aspheera was headed. "She's going to the monastery," Nya said. Cole and Kai looked at each other thinking the same exact thing.

"Cole and Kai you guys head to the monastery to protect everyone there while we stop Aspheera," Lloyd said. "Wait a minute I just realized something," Nya said. "What?" Jay asks. "Both master G and Wu defeated Aspheera with scrolls so there must be a second one somewhere," Nya said. "She's right my data says that Clutch Powers would know where," Zane said. "Great Nya and Jay you go find the scroll me and Zane will slow Aspheera down while Kai and Cole you go to the monastery," Lloyd said. They nodded and split up to their assigned tasks.
