Munce queen

Nya, Jay, and Lloyd followed Murt, the munce Cole had befriended, along with a few more munce as they held a glowing crystal torch for light. They walked silently until they reached a fork in the road and Murt looks around confused. "Murt? Is everything okay? Which way do we go?" Lloyd asks nicely. Murt looks at the other munce who shrug while looking at the passages. "Murt not know which way to go," Murt said. "What?! I thought you said you knew this place like the back of your hand?" Jay asks in panic. Murt looks at his palm like it was a puzzle than looked at the back of his hand and looked surprised. The ninja present facepalmed hoping the others are having better luck than them. "Murt," Jay said gently like talking to a idiot child. "Which way should we go?" He asks. "We could go that way," Murt said pointing to the right. "Or that way or maybe that way," He points to the two other directions. "We figured it was one of those ways, but which one?" Lloyd said. Murt turns around and points down the passage they just came from. "Or we could go that way," he said. "That's...... the way we just came," Lloyd said sounding defeated as Jay began hyperventilating.

"That's it! We are lost! We are never going to see the sun again, never going to see Wu again, never going to find the others, never going to see my parent again, never going to," As Jay panics his amazing ying said. "It's this way," Everyone looked at her. "How do you know?" Lloyd asks. "There's footprints," She said. Jay got up happy and goes down that direction. "See? I said there was nothing to worry about," He said waving off his earlier panic. Nya and Lloyd exchange a expression like they just could not be bothered to deal with Jay's usual brief panic attacks. They followed the footsteps and entered a large cavern filled with crystals on the cielings keeping it nicely lit. There were other munce who to the surprise of the ninja wore clothing similar to the munce they rescued. When seeing the clothing of the enslaved munce everyone assumed it was bad because they were slaves turns out it was because that was just how they dressed. They wore leather and rock jewelry plus stone armour that they carried with ease probably from all the heavy lifting they must do. They seemed to be a brute warroir type of culture.

Murt went up to a large door and two munce with spears greeted them. "Who goes there?" one asks his a harsh intimidating voice. Murt looks around confused then said. "Who goes where?" Murt asks in confusion and the ninja face palm. "Who goes there?" the other gaurd repeated pointing his spear closer. Murt looks at his feet confused when Lloyd said. "Murt he's asking for your name," Murt made a o shape with his mouth as he smiles at Lloyd's helpful advice. "Murt goes there," He said proudly and the two guards looked shocked. "Murt? But you were captured by the Skull Sorcerer," A guard said. "Yes and Murt escaped thanks to ninja help," Murt said pointing at Nya, Lloyd, and Jay who all smile.

The guards look at each other before standing down and opening the doors. Murt enters and the ninja follow down a large hallway.

"We should ask the Queen about Onyx. Cole said he saw a munce take Onyx. If anyone knows about it then it would be her," Lloyd said. "Yeah, but that's on the assumption they did not already eat him," Jay said getting a glare from Nya. "If anyone ate my nephew they have a funeral to plan," she threatens. The boys instinctively step away from her.

They arrive in a large cavern and they saw a female munce sitting on a throne made from tree roots and stones. She was wearing a dress made from tattered leather and a necklace made of rock. She looked quite tired or maybe it was boredom they couldn't tell. When she saw them and Murt enter she sat up straight in surprise. "MURT!" She yells echoing off the cave wall. "You escaped," she proclaims in joy and shock. Murt nodded and bows to the queen. "My Queen Murtessa. I Murt son of Murt have escaped with the help of these mount-siders," Murt said gesturing to the two ninja and samurai behind him.

"Wait Murtessa? That sounds familiar," Jay trails off thinking. "Murt have story tell it now!" Murtessa orders with a yell. "Murt tells story," Murt said. "This should be good," Lloyd whispers with a amused smile. "We were like so many days," Murt started pretending to mine with a pick axe. "Then the ninja came and they were like so," Murt than pretended to punch. "Than the skull sorcerer was like so," Murt went on the crowned and pretended to cry like a toddler. "And that is how Murt escaped with help of ninja friends,"Murt said pointing to the three behind him. The queen of the munce looked invested in the story the entire time. She looked at the three and got up from her throne and asks. "Is this true? Did you save Murt?" She asks. "Yep it was no trouble," Jay answers with a modest smile. The queen looks at him and smiles. "It must have been scary," She said. "Well it was no," Lloyd said only to be pushed away as the munce queen's attention was only on Jay. "Yeah it was no biggie we always do this type of thing," Jay said. The munce queen smiles. "You are indeed a warrior," she said. Nya did not like how the queen was looking at Jay. "We all helped and he's mine," Nya said pulling Jay close to her.
