Reforging the weapons

Cole's POV

I woke with a sudden gasp like I woke from a nightmare. My back hurt and there was a buzzing in my ears and it was so dark I had to squint in a effort to see through it. As memories flowed back of what had happened I realized I was the in the darkness. Well I was in a office building that had been consumed by the darkness, but lucky for me the tendrils or oni hadn't reached me.

I then realized something. The others must think I am dead and oh fuck I needed to get back to Kai. I tried using my communicator only to realize it was broken in the fall. I looked up and hopelessly yelled out. "Hey guys I think you forgot something. I think you forgot me," I yell before adding. "Kai please come back," I yelled through the skylight I had fallen through. I fiddled with some wires and managed to fix the part that lets you listen in, but not the part that lets them listen to you.

"We should have gone back for him!"

I heard Kai yell. It warmed my heart to know he did not just leave me.

"Kai calm down please your emotions could hurt the baby," Nya said and I was glad someone was there to make sure the baby was not harmed.

"What's the point? Cole is dead he is gone and there is nothing I can do," Kai said in a voice pained with sadness and anger in his soul. "We have the golden armour of the golden master. If we can re-forge the four weapons of spinjitzu then we will be able to stand against the oni then Cole will not have died in vain," Nya said and it was a pretty good plan. "Yeah, but who is going to re-forge them? We can not just give go to any old black-smith," Kai said and sniffed at the end and I knew he had been crying. "No we are going to you. You are a master of fire and a black-smith you are the only one who can re-forge them," Nya said. There was a pause on the line. "But will that hurt the baby?" Kai asks I was scared for that too. "Mum forged the time blades while she was one month in with you the baby will be fine," Nya said. "Fine, for Cole," Kai said his voice sounded pained when saying my name.

I dropped the communicator I had to get back to Kai and the others the weapons will not all work with out me to use the scythe of quakes. "PLEASE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE?!" I screamed. After a moment of silence I heard a voice. "You should not go yelling where Oni can hear you earth ninja," I turned to the source of the voice and my eyes went wide as they laid upon a oni with a weapon in hand.

No ones POV

The ninja minus Cole walked into the monastery Kai was still teary eyed wiping the tears from his puffy red eyes. "Kai what is wrong?" Sensei G asks. Sensei Wu surveys them then pales when he saw one of his students missing. "Where is Cole?" Sensei Wu asks and a new wave of tears sprang in Kai's eyes as Nya and Zane comfort him. "He...fell in to the cloud. There was nothing we could do," Lloyd said for Kai with a sad expression. Everyone was silent before Sensei G asks. "And the realm crystal?" Sensei G asks. "Is that all you care about? Cole is gone!" Kai yells his emotions haywire. "It was destroyed, but it did not work so we are going to use," Lloyd started before he was cut off by a un-welcomed, but sadly needed presence.

"By using this," Lord G said. The two masters and archeologists mother stiffened at his dark presence. In his four arms he held the golden armour and had no regard for the crying fire/water ninja over loosing his soul mate so suddenly. "Oh shut up boy it is only the hormones," Lord G said receiving many pointed glares that he ignored. "Now stop gawking a melt this down. We have no time to loose," Lord G said throwing the armour over to Sensei Wu who caught it. "The golden master's armour," Sensei Wu said. "If we re-forge the weapons of spinjitzu we might have a fighting chance," Lloyd said. Kai sighed knowing he needed to do this.

"Guess that is my cue. Let's do this for Cole," Kai said taking the armour. He got dressed in his black-smith clothes and apron. He lit his hands, but the fire was weak. It was because he felt weak with out Cole. He took a deep breath before his hands lit up brighter because now he was filled with determination. Determination to make those evil doom bringing f*cking devils pay for robbing him of his love. His fire burned bright in his hands and he lit the forge. He lowers the armour in ignoring the gazes of everyone near him as he focused on the quickest weapon. He banged the hammer against the magical golden metal as sweat poured down his brow. He created the design he remembered from memory and with a sigh finished it as he had finished his old weapon as he held it above him to bask in the light.
