Proposal

(Cole's POV)

Okay Cole just ask Kai's sister for permission to marry her big brother who basically raised her....Wait? Does that means he's good with kids? No too soon Cole wait a few more years like five more years then that would be good. Anyway back on track ask the sister because it is traditional to ask the guardian for permission for me to ask Kai to be my Yang even though it's the other way around I would feel better asking her. You can do this you can do this...I can't do this.

It had been a week since I had that dream and I had been thinking about the decision a lot and I'm pretty sure in it. I was standing outside Nya's door more scared than when I first asked Kai out on a date. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Kai wasn't home today because he was helping Zane and Jay install electricity in the temple before moving in. Jay told me though that he was scared they're were still ghosts and that he wanted Kai too get rid of them.

So it was only me and Nya in the bounty. She opens the door and smiles seeing me. "Hi Cole need something?" Nya asked.

Is it to late to turn back?

"Umm no I was hoping I could ask you something?" I said nervously. She nodded. "Sure what is it? Is it money? Did Kai cut off your cake fund's again?" She jokingly asked. No thank goodness he didn't do that.

"Umm no I was wondering... couldIhavepermissiontomarryKai?" I asked almost blurting it out. Nya was still as a statue before asking. "Can you please repeat?" Nya asked. "Can I marry your brother? Please I love him with all my heart and would never hurt him," I pleaded practically on my knees. She was shocked before smiling. "Of course I'm just surprised you asked me and I know you would never hurt him," Nya said and I practically cry as I hugged her.

"Cole...ribs!" Nya gasps. I drop her realizing my arms had started glowing really needed to work on that. "Thank you Nya don't tell him," I said. She smiles and sips her lips in a sign she would keep the secret.

I then went out using the money I had saved up doing interviews and autograph stuff with fans to buy a ring. I didn't want to be recognized going into the store so I put on a orange sweater, changed my hairstyle, and even put contacts in to hide my face. I kissed my necklace for good luck and hopped out of the car and walked into the store.

I wanted to get a ring that just said I love you. I looked at all of them and a really nice lady even helped me but I couldn't find the right one. I left the store empty handed and unhappy it's not like I had a time limit but I wanted to ask before something came up like it always did.

I got back to the bounty a few minutes after the others got back. "Remember we promised to help clean up the hall of villains at the end of the month," Lloyd was reminding us. "Yeah yeah got it," I said as I sat down to eat with the others.

We all ate Lloyd's cooking which wasn't bad it was fairly simple. At least I wasn't cooking even I admit my food is bad Kai was the only one who ate it instead of secretly ordering takeout. I went to training to get some frustration out since it wasn't my night to clean up the dishes.

After training I took a shower by that time it was already 10:00 so I went to my room seeing Kai on his phone probably updating his social media posts. He looked up when I came in the room and got in my pjs. "Hey Rocky are you okay? You've been kinda distant today," Kai asked me. "Yeah I've just been trying not to break everything. I accidentally broke the shower cap earlier with my new strength while you were out and asked Nya to fix it. Then when she did I gave her a hug to say thanks and I think I bruised her ribs," I admitted. Kai smiles softly as I sat down in bed next to him.

"It's okay if she wasn't complaining about it it means she forgives you. Take all the time you need to sort it out we both know how scary new powers are. But remember if you need to talk or rant come to me," Kai said and I smiled softly he was so considerate and patient. Well only when it came to me or Nya otherwise you had a minute before he blew a fuse.
