Botched Meeting

Nya groans as the munce argued among each other about going to the alliance meeting with the geckles. The second she had suggested it most munce laughed or yelled in raged slurs that the geckles could not be trusted, but some wanted to do whatever the queen said so now they were all fighting.

"We don't have time for this we should be looking for the others," Nya said looking at her boyfriend and friend. As the arguing got louder the previous queen of the munce, Murtessa, came inside the throne room and yelled. "Geckle at the entrance of caves! Says he wants to speak with queen herself," Murtessa bellows. For a moment Nya blinks in surprise before looking at the other two who were just as surprised. Nya decided to go and check it out honestly curious.

She, like Jay and Lloyd, were extremely surprised to receive a geckle coming to the entrance of the munce caves. At first the munce wanted to kill him, but Nya made them hear him out and as the queen they had to listen to her.

The geckle proclaims in a loud dignified voice.

"The grand chancellor would like too have a meeting with the new queen of the munce and to discuss handing Gilly's grandson over to them since they would be much better off with the grand chancellor of the geckles than you filthy barbaric munce," it as said with a bit and venom, but the three did not argue that with what the munce were planning with Onyx and the little they have seen of the geckles that Onyx would have been better off with the geckles. It did not mean, however, that Nya was going to hand one of her precious nephews over to some chancellor she did not know.

They probably had a large ego and was a imbecile.

The geckle was not done though as he continued reading from a scroll.

"The chancellor also wishes for a alliance against the skull sorcerer. The meeting shall take place at noon tomorrow near the lava tunnels to avoid being ambushed by evil skeletons. Do you agree too this?" The geckle asked Nya with a raised eyebrow expectantly. Nya took a moment to think. The geckles were clearly smarter and the chancellor wanted Onyx. They knew Onyx is Lilly's grandson and probably plan to use him along the same lines as the munce did, but she also knew they needed to stop fighting with the geckles and her brother said that Lilly was taken by a geckle.

"What of Lilly? She is a infant with green eyes and black hair," Nya said in a queenly confident voice of a leader. The geckle pauses thinking on his words. "She is in the care of the grand chancellor and will not be coming to the meeting. It would simply be too dangerous for her to be in the presence of these filthy munce," The munce behind Nya growl at the words of the geckle. Nya wanted to argue on their behalf as their queen, but in fairness he was not completely wrong.

"We will not agree to the terms unless you bring Lilly and hand her over to us," Nya said and some munce cheer. The geckle seems taken aback and angry. "How dare you! The girl rightfully belongs to the grand chancellor along with the boy. Not to some ugly munce queen," The geckle said and Nya's nostrils flare in anger. "Ugly?! Why you little," before Nya could strangle the purple messenger she was held back by Jay who was holding Onyx in a make shift baby sling. "Nya sweetheart," Jay coaxes. "We want to make a alliance with the geckles not more fighting," Jay said not wanting his (self proclaimed) nephew to witness his aunt commit murder in front of his cute innocent baby eyes. Lloyd took the chance to speak up.

"How about this? We bring Onyx to discuss who's care he should be in as long as your grand chancellor brings Lilly. We will also talk about a alliance against the skull sorcerer," Lloyd said. The geckle thought for a moment before slowly nodding his head. "I guess those terms are more than fair," he agrees. "We will meet you then," Lloyd said and with that conformation the geckle left to inform his leader, the grand chancellor.
