Falling Rescue Then More Falling

Cole was hanging on for dear life to the ledge so he did not fall off the cliff. "Stupid sorcerer if I fall and die I am so haunting you," Cole grumbled trying to get some footing. He managed to grab onto a ledge and lifted himself up some and for a second he had hope before fate decided it hated him and the rock broke off making him fall. Cole screamed as he free falls before suddenly he was weightless.

Is this death?

Cole opens his eyes and saw he had been caught by one of the bat creatures from earlier who flew with him into a cave. "Hey there you are not still mad about that misunderstanding earlier right?" Cole asks. The bat creature shrieks at him leading him too more creatures in the cave. If the bones on the floor were gonna be any indication he would say it was still really mad at him. "I would love to stay for lunch, but I got to go," Cole then used his powers and made a rock spire shoot out. It hit two of the bats and the rest charged. Cole knocked the one carrying him away and it dropped him. Thankfully the drop was only a few feet and Cole, being a highly trained ninja and all, managed to cushion his fall that he was unharmed. The bat creatures though were still pretty keen on having him for lunch though or dinner Cole was unsure what a bat creatures meal time was maybe this was breakfast time for them. The point is they wanted him over for a meal and he was a part of it.

"You know I am really not much of a meal," Cole tries. They still start flying after him and Cole screamed as he ran for his life.

Up Above

Vania used some card board cut outs of the ninja and put them by the window to make it look like the ninja were still around.

Oscar was in Wu's arms who was having trouble keeping the baby quiet. The little baby wanted his family and Wu wished the princess would lend some help.

"You know you could stop that for a sec and watch over him for a moment," Sensei Wu said. Vania looked at Oscar with a worried and guilty expression. "It is my fault his family is in danger though. The red ninja said he does not want me near his family as much as possible," Vania said. Sensei Wu sighs knowing that the princess was only trying to respect the wishes of his student, but for the love of his father he needs a nap from watching the crying child.

"Kai cares deeply about his family. He was only upset and worried, just hold the child please," Sensei Wu said the last part almost beggingly. "I do not deserve that honour," Vania replies. Sensei Wu rolls his eyes and got up basically shoving the child into Vania's arms. "I know your just trying to respect the wishes of his mother and feel guilty for the situation, but I am super old and in desperate need for a nap," And with that Sensei Wu left for his own room.

Vania blinks a little processing what just happened before she looked at the crying child. "Okay? Sooooo what do you want? How about a snack?" Vania asks. The child looked at her expectantly, but at least it stopped crying so that was good. Vania rummages around in the baby bag and pulled out some baby food. "Okay now let's do this," Vania said.

Five minutes later

"That was the hardest five minutes of my life," Vania said as she looked at the sleeping baby in the crib than at her dress covered in baby food.

She looks at the clock and bites her lip. "The ninja should be back by now," she said. "No Vania you need to watch over Oscar," Vania said to herself. "But Kai did say I could not be near him. Plus the royal nurses," Vania trails off in thought.

Back to Cole

Cole was running and using his powers to throw boulders at the bats trying to eat him. He was running as fast as he could go, but it was doing nothing to help him. After a few close calls he saw a hole ahead of him.
