Meeting

(Cole's POV)

Me, Jay, and Zane jumped through the rafters and saw sensei fast asleep.

We continued on and saw someone we didn't know with spiked brown hair, slightly tanned skin, around our age, and amber eyes brushing his teeth mumbling something.

We jumped down thinking he was a intruder and looking closely at him he was kinda well really hot. Jay and Zane knew I was gay but now was not the time to be flirting Cole. We started fighting and it ended us dog piling him when sensei yelled.

"ENOUGH!" We scrambled to attention and bowed all saying in union. "Yes sensei,"

The hottie looked surprise and confused. "Wait? They're your students too?" Wu nodded. "This was my final test wasn't it?" He mumbles. Jay of course interrupted hottie with his blabber so annoying his voice sounded like a angles. "You never said there was a forth. It's always three three musketeers, three blind mice, three-" I interrupted him before he talked till dawn. "What he means master. Is that we're a team we're solid," I said try to sound wise.

Hot stuff snorts. "Didn't look so solid to me," he comments and I was glad my mask hid the blush.

Sensei did spinjitzu and we all got new gi's hot stuff got a red one while I still had a black gi. "Hey I'm still black," I comment.

Sensei put his staff on my shoulder. "Cole master of earth," he spoke and I did a small trick with my scythe trying to impress the hot boy. Sensei went to him next putting his staff on his shoulder.

"Kai master of fire it burns bright in you," Wu said. So Kai's his name cute name. After the other two are introduced I try going for the tough guy routine with him.

"Don't worry kid I got your back and just so you know," I took of my hood and made a serious look. "There ain't nothing in this world I'm afraid of," I finished. Zane comments. "Except dragons," he said and I gave him a deadpan look. "Dragon's aren't from this world Zane I said in the world," I said and looked at Kai who seemed a little pissed off.

"What about my sister?" He asks and Jay is instantly interested. "We're saving a girl? Is she hot?" Kai looks like he was going to skewer him with his katana. And dude seriously? Timing. "Jay," I scold. Jay looks defensive.

"I'm just wanting to know what we're getting ourselves into," he said and I sigh turning back to sensei. "Does she like blue?" He asks Kai and he growled. "Back off," Jay giggles nervously and I liked his protective nature.

"In time Kai be patient and we will get your sister back. Now sleep we have a long day ahead of us," Wu said. He left to go to sleep and Kai yawns. "I'm heading to sleep too and blueboy ask another question about my little sister and I'll skewer you," he states. Jay laughs then whispers to Zane. "He's joking right?" Clearly nervous.

I saw Kai crack a cocky smile meaning he was kidding and felt butterflies in my stomach. God I've only known him less than ten minutes and I'm love struck. I think to myself starring after him. I notice it got quiet and Jay was giving me a goofy smile and Zane had a small grin.

"You like the new kid," Jay sings and I put a hand over his mouth shushing him. "Shut up he might hear you," I whisper shouts. "It is not something to be ashamed of if you have feelings for another Cole," Zane said and I sighed.

"Forget it he probably isn't into guys," I sighed but still hoped. When we got to the shared room Kai was on the bottom bunk sharpening his sword. "Why are you sharpening the sword?" I asked. "It was chipped," he replies casually. We all got into our pjs and I took the top bunk on the opposite side of the room.

"What's her name?" Jay asks and Kai sighed in annoyance. "If I tell you will you shut up?" He asks and I giggle. "If you can find out how to shut him up let me know," I joke he laughs slightly and I call that a win.

"Her name's Nya she's stubborn and doesn't really do what you tell her if it means staying out of a fight," Kai said thoughtfully. "Your parents must be worried about her," Zane comments. He looked sad and I got the feeling it was a sore subject with parents, I could relate. "Anyway let's get to bed," I said and he gave me a grateful smile because he didn't have to elaborate.

We all laid down and slowly drifted off to sleep and I was watching him as he slept. Before I fell asleep my last thought was.
