New Chancellor

Kai and Zane has been walking for hours. Kai lit his hand on fire to light the way. He was really stressed about everything. He was separated from the others, two of his babies are missing, he has no way to find them, and he did not want to leave Cole alone with that Vania princess around. He hoped if he couldn't find his babies the others would.

"You sure we aren't just going in circles?" The mixed elementalist said as he held fire in one hand. "My internal scanners would warn me if that was happening," Zane said and Kai sighs. "Good," then a thought came to Zane. "Unless these walls are made of magnesium material," he said. "Well what would that mean?" Kai asks. "Then we would be going in circles," Zane replies. Kai looks to his right and stops when he saw a familiar rock. "Wait I know that rock. We passed it a hour ago!" Kai facepalms in frustration. "Ugh that is just great. We are lost and we have no idea where the others are or my babies if they are even still," Kai felt tears stinging his eyes. Zane patted his back.

"We will find them all of them," Zane said putting a hand on the red ninja's shoulder. "You don't know that," Kai responds solemnly. The two stop walking when they heard voices singing. They hid behind some rocks and peeked out to see some of the purple creatures, geckles, coming in their direction with buckets and ladders. They were singing a song that seemed to make them happy.

"Oh rejoice! Oh rejoice! For Gilly the hero of the mountain! She conquered the evil dragon and brought piece to all! With two magical blades she shared! Only to be stolen my greed, but now we have hope for her return is now! Though small she shall defeat the munce and the skull sorcerer," The geckles sang. Zane and Kai looked at each other wondering who this Gilly is as the Geckles go up the ladders and scrape something blueish purple off the roof. "Mmm the sludge is extra sludgy today we should have brought more buckets!" A geckle said and licked some out of the bucket. In doing so the geckle lost his balance and fell off the ladder. He landed, fairly unscathed, where Kai and Zane were hiding. The geckle dropped the bucket of sludge and it landed all over Kai. He jumped out from the hiding spot and quickly gets the stuff off him. "Eww it's in my mouth I think I'm gonna," Kai struggles to keep his breakfast down. Zane stepped in front of him with a friendly smile plastered on his face hoping the three geckles now starring at them would not decide to be violent. The munce were definitely violent in general and geckles were violent to munce but Zane did not know if it was just to the munce or anyone in general. The geckles blink at them and one of them shouted.

"Minions of the skull sorcerer!" He said pointing his finger accusingly at them. One of the other geckles spoke up confused. "Aren't all the skull sorcerer's minions evil skeletons? and they have flesh," Cleary the geckles were smarter than the munce when it came to common sense quicker than the munce. "Then they must be fleshy skeletons," another one said. On the other hand.

"We are not skeletons," Kai defends then thought for a moment. "Well we do have skeletons, but there is so much more to us. Like flesh, blood, veins, and organs and you now," Kai looked to Zane for back up. Zane merely gave a indifferent expression. "I have none of those things," He said. "And were are talking hear us talking?" Kai asks pointing his mouth trying to prove he was not a fleshy skeleton. "Quiet fleshy skeleton," two of the geckles came forward with their shovels raised when one of the three wearing a bandage around their head said. "Wait lets take them to the Chancellor he will know what to do," The geckles reasons and Kai cuts in. "Yeah take us to your leader," Kai agrees.

The geckles lead the way threw some tunnels and entered a giant hall. It looked like the town hall room where a bunch of government members made budgets and voted. As they entered a geckle with a silver sash and a brown hat with what seemed like a geckles standards nice clothing had just slammed a hammer. "The passing of no slug races on Tuesday has been agreed," The geckle said. Geckles in the stands threw small rocks at the Chancellor who smiles as they bounce off his purple skin. One rather small geckle was handing out snacks to the other geckles and had a hood over his head with a look like he was itching to go and check up on something. When his eyes landed on the the three geckles coming in he did not seem indifferent, but when he saw Kai and Zane behind them he looked very panicked and quickly left to the side of the chancellor. When the chancellor saw Kai and Zane he addresses the geckles. "Glick, Gleff, Gloko who are they? And aren't you supposed to be harvesting sludge for the new chancellor?" The chancellor said in a snobbish noble accent, but he didn't seem like the type of ruler who would do what they please just because they can. "We were vice chancellor Gulch, but we found these two and we are not sure if they are skeletons," One of the geckles said pointing to the red and white ninja. "We are not skeletons. We are talking see? Skeletons don't talk well most at least," Kai said pointing to his mouth once again. Gulch hums considering the information. "Good argument for both sides," Gulch said. "Both sides?" Kai looks to Zane confused. Kai's eyes found Gleck behind the vice chancellor and he realizes something and taps Zane on the shoulder.
