Cole X Kai

Riot

Kai did not look up from the screen that showed the dots that were his two missing babies. It was silent until Jay spoke up. "Do you think you were a little hard on the princess?" Jay asks. "No I think I went kind of easy on her," Kai answers monotone voice. "I know you just want to find them, but she was only trying too help," Nya said. "She is the reason my family is in danger," Kai said. "They are our family too," Zane said. "You are not their mother, you have no idea how it feels that you failed to protect your young, and I will not stop until I have all my three babies in my arms and Cole," Kai said and his tone was that of murder. They arrived at a cross roads and Kai looked at the tracker banging it slightly. "The signals are still weak I got no idea where to go," Kai said.

Zane looked at the crossroads and did a scan. "I hear noises this way," Zane pointed and they followed him. They arrived in a large open cavern and looked below. They saw creatures mining and Kai looked at his tracker. "Not sure if it's a good thing or not that the signals are still weak," Kai said looking up again. "Vania was right this really is terrible," Nya said. "I sense they only have simple weaponry and basic fortification," Zane said scanning the area. Kai looks at the whips that the skeletons were using. "Yeah definitely a good thing," he said. He looked at down and his eyes went wide. "Look there's Cole," He said. Everyone saw Cole and some other creatures being led into a cage with bowls of food. "Let's go rescue him," Jay said. "I don't know I think this is one of those times master Wu would tell us to have a plan," Lloyd said. "Here's a nice simple plan. We go down kick butt rescue Cole and I chew him out for going in a tunnel alone, best rescue ever," Kai said. Everyone looked at each other. "Unless someone has a better plan?" He asks. No one answers and instead Kai starts walking towards the area Cole had been imprisoned.

Cole was meanwhile feeding his terrible food to a mino. The mino ate the food bowl and all and Cole jokes. "Bet the bowl tastes better than the food," He said looking around hopelessly. "Cole psssst Cole," Cole looked up and was delighted to see the others. "Guys boy am I glad to see you," Cole then noticed the murderous expression on his love's face. "I am guessing I am in trouble right?" Cole asks. "You bet you are. The second we find Onyx and Lilly I am using you for target practice," Kai states and Cole suddenly fears for his life. "Your joking right?" He asks. "Does it look like I am joking?" Kai asks. "Yeah have fun with that, but first are you okay?" Nya asks while she used her spear and picked the lock open. "Yeah," Cole then realized what Kai had said.

"So wait? Lilly's gone too? Is Oscar okay at least?" Cole asks concerned getting out of the bone cage. "He's safe with Master Wu. I got the tracker for Lilly and Onyx, but their signals are weak," Kai explains and Cole frowns sadly. "Look someone's coming," Jay points to a cave tunnel and the sound of skeletons coming towards them. Zane uses one of his shurikens and threw it at a cage suspended above the air and cut the chains causing the cage to fall on the skeletons. "Shush there is a really mean and powerful guy with wings in that temple," Cole said pointing to the scary skull lava temple. "Is he the one who took Lilly and Oscar?" Kai asks. "I don't think so besides the entire cave has vengestone everywhere. We can't use our powers in here and the two are normal babies until they get their powers so I got zero clue why they were taken. The point is we do not want to be meeting him," Cole explains. Nya nods in agreement. "Yeah let's not get him angry," she said.

Some of the purple things that was with Cole in the cage ran out behind him singing. "Free! Free!" Nya started picking the locks on other cages releasing some of the gray creatures. One of the purple things crashed into a grey one and the two looked at each other growling. "Filthy munce!" The purple thing said with hatred. "Blade stealing geckles!" The munce growls. The two groups started fighting kinda loudly. "Cole calm them down or we are going to get caught," Kai orders. "I am open to suggestions," Cole said at a lost. The fighting attracted the skeleton gaurds attention and they let out a skeletal wail seeing the ninja. "Well guess it's time to heat things up," Kai summons his fire, but it went out. "What?" He asks in confusion. "This place is full of vengestone our powers are useless," Cole said. Nya smirks' confident. "Well good thing I do not need powers to kick butt," Nya said and shot her grapple at some skeletons. It wrapped around them and she flung them into another group that was coming up on the left. Kai got out his katanas, Lloyd got out his sword, Jay got out with nun-chucks, Zane got out his shurikens, Nya had her weapons locked and loaded, and Cole felt very left out without a weapon. 

They engaged in a fight with the skeletons that fell apart with ease. It would have been easier if the munce and geckles would fight the skeletons instead of each other. Jay and Nya used spinjitzu to take out the support towers and took out most of the skeletons . "If they do not start running they will never get out of here ever," Jay said. "Yeah they hate the others guts," Cole said. As the fighting got more loud a sudden ghostly screech echoed throughout the cave and everyone even the skeletons cover their ears as the skull sorcerer flew out from his temple with the evil green skull. "Guessing that's the guy?" Lloyd asks. "Yeah that's the guy," Cole confirms. The guy glowed with evil energy and bellowed. "None of you shall leave!" He bellows using the skull to put the bones of the skeletons back together and pretty much make a army in seconds flat. The Skull Sorcerer started blasting them with green energy and they all ran from the blasts scared for their lives. Kai tripped on a rock and fell his tracker falling out from his belt pocket. The sorcerer blasted at Kai, but he rolled out of the way in time, but the tracker was blasted to smithereens. "No!" Kai yelled in despair. Cole ran over and saw what remained of the trackor and helped Kai up. "We have another in the palace come on!" Cole urges. The ninja saw a opening of some caves and Cole yelled to a munce. "Murt run now!" Murt put down a geckle a started running. "Murt start running," Murt started doing that he ran with a few other munce behind him. Lloyd uses his spinjitzu taking out a tower and it fell on the sorcerer. Most of the freed geckles were smarter than the munce and had already ran through a different cave. 

"Everyone run!" Lloyd yelled among the chaos. He ran the direction the munce went with Jay and Nya following suit. Zane and Kai did not see where the three ran off too and followed the geckles to a different exit. The Skull Sorcerer got up from the fallen tower and saw Cole running the direction Zane and Kai went. "Cole come on!" Kai yelled. Cole ran for his life, but the Skull Sorcerer flew over and blasted the cave entrance blocking it before Cole could escape with Zane and Kai. "COLE!" Kai yelled. "We must go he will find another way," Zane said pulling Kai along as he looked back at the sealed entrance in total despair. "I hope so," Kai said wistfully before running into the dark caves with Zane. 

Cole meanwhile was trying not to become one of the dead skeletons and he ran for his life from the sorcerer. He saw one last escape from the cave and ran for it the Skull Sorcerer hot on his heels. "You shall not leave!" He bellows after the black earth ninja. "Watch me ugly!" Cole responds. A mino blocked the entrance, but Cole improvises and slides under it's belly and ran into the cave. The Skull Sorcerer blasted at the mino scaring it off and he flew into the caves. He flew in at the speed of light and found himself at a fork with four possible ways Cole could have gone and not having any indication on which way Cole had escaped too. In anger he bellows so loud the entire mountain heard him. 

Cole had ran and smirks hearing the Skull Sorcerer bellows. Once he thought he had ran far enough he arrives at a dead end and sat down out of breath. He wipes the sweat from his forehead and looked around having zero clue which way to go. "Okay Cole your all alone in a cave you have no idea where to go and you still need to find two of your elevon months olds., but hey it can't get worse the this right?" Cole said to himself out loud. He heard a crack and looked under him to see that he was at the edge of a cliff and the side was breaking. 

"Dammit!" He screams as he fell off the cliff into the darkness.
