Cole X Kai

Past is now present

Kai and Cole were crouched under a loose panel as they had barely managed to sneak on board together as they travelled through time with the time twins unaware that they had stowaways on board. "Where are we even going?" Cole whispers. "I don't know we just can't let anything be changed," Kai responds.

"We are arriving at our destination," Krux announces right before the iron doom lands. Cole and Kai stayed hidden but peaked out and saw Krux and Acronix leaving the cockpit so they snuck out to watch the battle. They looked down and saw almost every single past elemental master except for water and fire. Cole eyes his grandfather who died when he was around ten.

"Hey ice, is it just me or are those the two we just defeated?" A lady with long blonde hair, sapphire blue eyes, and freckles in a blue lightning suit asks. The man she was addressing had Snow White hair and looked way to old to be fighting any battle. "Indeed it is lightning," Ice answers.

"Today a battle happened and today it will happen again," Krux said menacingly. Lightning groans. "Aww and I thought I would finally get to go on my honeymoon! Really great guy Cliff is a actor and when I look into his eyes..." Lightning rambles. "Hush lightning focus!" Wu chides and Lightning focuses nodding. Cole and Kai looked at each other.

"Like mother like son," they said together before giggling. "Vermillion attack!" Acronix orders and the vermillion start attacking the masters. The masters did okay at first but even with their powers the snakes kept reforming they had never seen a vermillion warrior and were loosing badly. "They're loosing," Cole said. "But change anything and we change everything," Kai replies. "The past has already changed I say we get it back on track," Cole said punching his fists together about to go onto the battle field but got pulled back by Kai. "We can't reveal ourselves I got a better idea," Kai said.

Young Wu was cornered by four vermillion and young Garmadon was unable to aid him nor any other masters. Suddenly all the vermillion were taken out by a blast of fire that lasted until the armour melted. Young Wu looked up surprised finding Kai who he thought was Ray.

"Master of fire! Your here," Young Wu exclaims excited then saw Cole next to Kai who had his hood up also since he looked a lot like his grandfather. "Yes and I brought a friend he's studied this enemy before," Kai said making his voice deeper to sound like his father's. "We need to keep them separated so they don't reform!" Cole yells over the battle field. "Keep them separated got it," Lightning said and electrocuted the snakes as ice froze them. The masters started gaining some ground that infuriated the hands of time. "Ray isn't supposed to be here he should still be sleeping," Krux exclaims angry. "Wait a minute that's not Ray it's his son and and the other one. Kill them!" Acronix orders and vermillion converge on them. Cole was getting overwhelmed and Kai was on the other side also having trouble. On pure instinct Cole earth punched the ground and all the vermillion around him disintegrated while everyone else fell over.

All the masters turned to him wide eyed since they know their master of earth didn't do that. "Ray what is your friend!?" Young Garmadon exclaims. "Umm well funny story..." Kai stutters. A vermillion came from behind and tried grabbing him but Kai flung it off him but the thing managed to pull off his hood revealing his face and that he wasn't Ray.

"Okay what is going on here!? Who are you?" Ice demands. "I thought we left you in the boiling sea!" Krux shouts angry. "It takes a lot more to get rid of us," Cole shouted. Cole charges and Kai was about to do the same when Garmadon grabbed his arm. "I want answers now! What is going on!" Garmadon demands and it was clear the other masters wanted answers to. Kai sighs not really having a choice. "I'm Kai Ray and Maya's son that's Cole master of earth Krux and Acronix went to the future and came back to this battle so they could rule Ninjago me and Cole managed to sneak aboard in time," Kai explains. "So wait your from the future?" Lightning asks. "Yes," I answered. Everyone was shocked and Wu asked me. "Who's the green ninja?" I answered. "I can't answer that," I say. "KAI!" Cole screams and everyone was so distracted that we didn't notice Cole has being hung upside down with the Iron doom. "PUT HIM DOWN!" Cole's grandfather yells. "Okay," Kurx answers and threw him off the mountain. Okay Kai knew he shouldn't use his water powers but he's done it most of the other times the ninja fall off buildings it happens more times than he's willing to admit. Kai summoned a stream of water and caught Cole barely in time and pulled him back on the grounds.
