With the entirety of her power now being unleashed, Skylar was able to easily break free of the barrier. She rushed towards the lake, killing every elementalist trying to get in her way.

By the time she have arrived in the battleground, even with the use of teleportation, she was already too late.

Lonan and Caoem Crest launched an attack at each other simultaneously.

Kahit na magkaibang-magkaiba ang pinagmumulan ng kapangyarihan at mismong kapangyarihan ng dalawa—Lonan, Dark Light Manipulation na mula sa kaniyang sarili at Caoem Crest, Blue Fire na mula sa elemento ng apoy—magkapareho naman sila ng lebel. But between self magic, which are born with and used by a single magic user; and elemental magic, magic which comes from the actual element itself; elemental magic will no doubt win.

Caoem Crest will no doubt win.

Only, he has three disadvantages...

One, there is an ongoing war—the third magic world war—and he is not the only fire elementalist there is using the power from the element of fire.

Two, without his other half by his side—his mate, Blue—he won't be able to accumulate the highest power potential of the element of fire.

And lastly, three, this was Lonan Skullwalker he was dealing with, a master magic user.

In self magic, one is born with and accompanied with one's own power in one's entire life. In order to be able to use the power in its highest and most powerful form, to be a master magic user, one must know himself entirely and has to have the ultimate self control.

With the mastery of self magic, it can no doubt defeat the wild and way too hard to master elemental magic.

Lonan can no doubt defeat Caoem Crest.

See? It would be hard to tell who will win this battle.

Lonan threw hundreds of his needles filled with a bit of his Dark Light Manipulation at Caoem Crest.

Caoem Crest summoned blue fire, the fire that will give one instant death once came into contact with it, and launched it in the direction where Lonan is.

The two after attacking one another, immediately defended themselves from one another's attack.

Caoem Crest used his blue fire to melt Lonan's needles.

Lonan summoned a literal black hole to slurp Caoem Crest's blue fire.

Both men were already exhausted and out of breath just by their first attacks.

Battling a monster as a monster with the same levels of power surely is exhausting.

But no, the battle's not yet over. On both their minds was, only one shall remain standing.

They launched at each other with the same attacks they did  a while ago, but this time, both attacks were stronger and longer.

And the result, along with their defensing of self, decreasing of their energies to half.

Gumewang sa pagkatatayo si Caoem Crest sa naramdamang biglang pagkahilo at napaubo ng dugo samantalang si Lonan ay dumugo ang ilong.

Still, with all the exhaustion and internal injuries caused by the over usage of power, the battle is not over.
