"Is he your mate?" Caoem asked Sky. Napakunot-noo ang huli, hindi lubos na naintindihan ang sinabi ng nauna. Sky was confused.

Mate? Mate as in classmate? Schoolmate? Alin sa dalawa?

'Di bale, pareho lang naman ang sagot.

She was about to answer yes, pero naunahan siya sa pagsasalita ni Lonan. "Yes, I am." As usual, walang kaemo-emosyon ang boses nito. Nakita niya pa ang rumehistrong takot sa mga mata ni Blue. Nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita si Lonan. He was looking at the love birds. "Thank you for taking of my mate." Bumaling naman ang binata kay Skylar, na kunot-noo pa rin. "Let's go."

Hinila na ng binata ang huli. They needed to get out of that place as soon as possible. Pero biglang nagtanong si Sky. "Why?" She didn't want to go home yet and it was a double meaning question... She was asking, too, why Lonan was with a girl when she last saw him. She was still upset, yes, but she will never admit that she was in fact, jealous.

Lonan's brows furrowed. He was confused why Sky's asking why, instead of where. But anyway, he answered her. "Your grandfather's worried of you. Everyone's worried of you." Even he was worried, yes, when he haven't found her yet. Good thing, he has now.

Sky snatched her hand away from Lonan's grip, then crossed her arms. "Then why lolo isn't the one who fetch me?" Ang boses ng dalaga ay bahagyang napalakas, kaya nakuha nila ang atensyon ng karamihan. They were now making a scene—she was now making a scene, but she didn't care, anyway.

Law got even more confused with the bitchy attitude Skylar's showing... and he was slowly getting irritated. Kailangan na nilang umalis sa lugar na 'yon ora mismo pero bigla namang tinopak si Skylar.

What's with this woman?

Irritated, he held Sky's wrist tightly and said, "Let's go home."

But, Skylar, being the stubborn that she was... "Ayoko!" Pilit niyang hinila ang pulso mula sa pagkakahawak ni Lonan, pero sobrang higpit ng pagkakahawak nito.

Lonan was now seriously upset. Skylar's acting like a brat so he had no choice but to carry her like a sac of rice on his shoulder. Sa ginawa niya ay nagtititili ang dalaga at pinaghahampas ang likod niya. He ignored her, but deep inside he wanted to shut her annoyingly noisy mouth.

He fastly walked through the woods. Before vanishing, he looked around, ensuring no one's watching. Sa dimensyon kasi na 'yon, hindi uso ang teleportation. Also, he was suprised to know that that dimension actually exists, ang alam kasi ng karamihan—kabilang na siya, dati, dahil sa iyon ang kaniyang nabasa sa libro, mitolohiya lamang ang lugar ng Crest. Turns out, it's not.

The love birds, Caoem and Blue, actually followed Sky and to their knowledge, Sky's mate. Kanina lamang ay naririnig ng dalawa ang matinis na boses ni Sky... na sa kanilang pagtataka ay biglang naglaho... Maging ang dalawa ay naglaho na parang bula sa hangin. They were so confused. Lalo na at ang lugar na dinaanan ng dalawa ay hangganan na ng teritoryo ng paaralan at isang malawak at may kalaliman na na bangin ang kasunod, pero ni anino ng dalawa ay hindi nila nakita.

They then knew... Something was weird. And Caoem... He has now more evidences that there is a place—or rather world outside their world.

That certain blurry memory of him getting out from sort of like a borderline and getting lost in a bigger world than theirs and his dad getting all angry as he found him and he remembers him saying, "You must never leave the dimension again, do you understand! You stubborn child! You're ruining the plan!" ...as a young boy is not just a dream nor a product of his imagination, but it is definitely true... and now he's wondering why wasn't he—or they, the creatures of Crest in general, weren't allowed to leave the said dimension... and what is that plan. Knowing his dad, it most definitely isn't a good one.

Back to Lonan and Skylar...

Lonan passed by a cyclop's house—the one which he threatened and stole its eye so that he would be able to enter the dimension for one needs the cyclop's permission in order to enter it. The cyclop had no choice but to let him in for he got its eye. In Sky's case, on the other hand, she was able to enter even without the cyclop's permission for the cyclop was away when she entered... mindlessly. Wala siya noon sa katinuan at nilalamon siya ng sari-saring emosyon noong natakbo siya sa kawalan, hindi malaman kung saan.

Law tossed back to the cyclop its eye. Upon seeing that, upside down, Sky almost puked.

Law once again vanished and in a minute, he and Sky were back in Akademya de Majika. He was actually able to memorize the way back as he looked for Sky a while back. He's that good.

Tired from the long journey back—he got drained for the dimension was so far away from AdM and he used teleportation—using teleportation going through far away places can really drain one's energy; and Skylar's nonstop bitchy talking, from irritated to upset, he was now really angry.

"What is your problem, woman?" Salubong na salubong ang mga kilay na tanong ng binata.

"Ikaw!" Sky shouted, angry as well. "How dare you do that to me! Kung buhatin mo 'ko, para lang akong sako ng bigas, ah! Eh, paano kung napunta na lahat ng dugo ko sa ulo ko, ha?! Saka, 'yung pagbuhat mo, walang permiso ko! Ikaw, lalaki ka, wala kang modo!"

Sa huling sinabi ni Sky, napaigting ang panga ni Lonan. "Well, to tell you, that won't happen. Remember you were hanged upside down in a tree for more than ten minutes before? I carried you for no more than three minutes!"

Akmang magsasalita muli ang dalaga, pero pinigilan niya ito. Nagpatuloy siya sa pagsasalita. "A simple thank you for me saving you will do, yet here you are, talking nonsense!" Napailing siya at bumulong. "Such an ungrateful brat."

Nanlaki ang mga mata at butas ng ilong ni Sky sa galit dahil hindi nakatakas sa kaniya ang bulong na iyon ni Law. "Aba't nanunumbat ka na ngayon?! Bakit?!" Dahil doon sa babaeng 'yon, naabala ko kayo? "I don't need saving now, Lonan! I can take care of myself! You're calling me an ungrateful brat?!" Napailing siya at tumawa—tawang hindi natutuwa. "Tuwing nililigtas mo naman ako noon, lagi akong nagpapasalamat sa iyo, ah! Nalimutan mo na?" She don't know why, but there were tears starting to form in her eyes. Siguro dala ng halo-halong emosyon, she's not sure. "Mula ngayon, huwag mo na 'kong tutulungan pa! Hindi ko naman na kailangan ng tulong mo! Malaki na 'ko, I can handle myself. I don't need you anymore, Lonan. Also, come to think of it, hindi ko naman kailanman hiniling sa 'yo na tulungan mo 'ko, ah?" Maybe on my mind, but I never say it out loud. "Ikaw lang 'tong tulong nang tulong sa 'kin! Kung tutulong ka, tumulong ka lang! Huwag kang manunumbat!"

"I'm always risking my life for you! Yet here you are, saying I'm nanunumbat?" Lonan asked in disbelief. Napailing ang binata. "Because I said you were an ungrateful brat? Well, you really are!"

Napasinghap si Sky. "How dare you!" Matalim na mga tingin ang pinukol niya sa binata. "Saka nagpasalamat na 'ko, 'di ba?! Gusto mo magpasalamat ulit ako, paulit-ulit?! Oh, baka naman nabingi ka na, ha?! Oh, 'eto, salamat! Thank you! Kamsahamnida! Arigato! Xie xie! Ano, kulang pa?! Merci! Gracias! Efharisto! To... To... To... Wala na 'kong alam na iba pa! Oh, ano pa gusto mo?! Baka gusto mong mag-alay pa 'ko sa 'yo, ha?! Gawan ng rebulto?! Ano pa, ha?! Ano pa?! Sabihin mo at gagawin ko! Oh, bakit hindi ka na makapagsalita riyan, ha—"

"What's happening here?!" Biglang dating ng headmaster, kunot-noo. Pero agad na nawala ang pagkakunot-noo nito nang makita si Sky. "Skylar, apo!"

Niyakap si Sky ni Felix nang mahigpit. "Salamat sa Kaniya at ligtas ka, apo ko."

Katahimikan. Sila Law at Sky ay magkatitigan.

Pumasok si Iro at ang mga kaibigan ni Sky. Akmang lalapitan ng mga ito ang huli pero napatigil nang magsalita ang headmaster. "Ano't tahimik kayong dalawa? May nangyari ba? Sigawan kayo kanina, ah." Nagtatakang sabi ni Felix. Tinuon niya ang tingin sa apong babae. "Bakit mo sinisigawan kanina si Lonan, apo?" Kay Law naman niya tinuon ang tingin. "Lonan? Anong nangyayari sa inyo?"

Lonan finally looked away from Sky's piercing eyes. He then looked at the headmaster. "Ask your stubborn granddaughter, headmaster." In the corner of his eyes, he saw Sky's hands balled into a fist. He shook his head. "I'm outta here."

He then vanished, but then he still heard Sky shouting at him... "Jerk!"
