Brielle quietly rolled out of bed careful to not wake Blake who was sound asleep next to her. They had played New Orleans the night before and Blake had pulled off another thirty point game, his fourth of the season. Brielle was so proud of him. All around he was playing much better this season than he had in the past.

She quietly slipped into the bathroom and turned on the shower. She had a doctors appointment later this morning. She and Blake still hadn’t decided if they wanted to know what they were having.

She honestly would be happy either way as long the baby was healthy. She smiled feeling the baby kick as the water hit her stomach. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn’t even notice Blake had snuck in behind her until his arms around her middle and his hands were resting on her belly.

Brielle jumped as the initial contact as Blake scared her out of her thoughts.

“Sorry,” Blake laughed. “Good morning,”

“Morning baby,” Brielle sighed.

“You make a decision yet?” Blake asked as she turned to face him.

“On?” Brielle asked wrapping her arms around his neck.

“Are we finding out what peanut is?” Blake smiled down at her.

“Do you want to?” Brielle asked him.

“I do if you do,”

“I think I wanna know,” Brielle smiled.

“Yeah? Me too,” Blake agreed leaning down and pressing his lips against hers.

The two finished their shower and quickly got dressed. Blake was downstairs before Brielle and was standing at the refrigerator with the door open looking to see what they had for breakfast as she made her way downstairs and into the kitchen.

“Still no to eggs?” Blake asked looking over at her.

Brielle nodded coming up behind him and grabbing the milk. She went to the cabinet and grabbed the box of Lucky Charms. That along with cherry popsicles were the current cravings.

“Pregnant women are so weird,” Blake smirked grabbing what he needed for his usual morning shake.

“What?” Brielle smiled at him.

“You eat like a little kid,” Blake laughed.

“It’s good,” Brielle said shoveling a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.

“I know it is,” Blake smiled.

They finished their breakfast just in time to head to the doctor. Brielle grabbed a bottled water for her and one for Blake on the way out to the garage.

Luckily for them it was late enough in the morning that LA traffic had finally died down. They pulled into the parking lot and Brielle got out of the car. Blake held the door open for her as she went inside. She signed in and went in the back to leave her urine sample as she did at every appointment before joining Blake in the waiting room.
