I'm so far ahead in writing this story I figured I would go ahead and update again. I'm glad you guys are enjoying reading this as much as I enjoy writing it!

Brielle groaned hearing the alarm on her phone going off. She had set it for 10:45. That would give her enough time to get ready, eat a quick breakfast, and head down to the Staples Center. She grabbed her phone shutting it off and rolled over seeing Blake’s sleeping form next to her.

She was pretty sure he had told her he would leave at the same time she did and that the team was meeting at 12:30 in the lobby that afternoon. She decided to let him sleep a little longer as she rolled out of bed and jumped in the shower.

She got out and pulled on her black pants and orange and blue Thunder staff polo. She grabbed her ID that she had to wear until game time and walked into the kitchen. She had just poured herself a bowl of cereal when Blake came walking in dressed in his warmups.

“Good morning,” Brielle smiled up at him.

“Morning. You’d look better in blue and red,” Blake smirked walking over to the cabinets and grabbing the box of cereal.

“I can’t disagree with you there. I’m not a big fan of orange,” Brielle said making a face as she took another bite of her cereal.

“It still looks good on you Brie,” Blake said sitting down next to her with his bowl. “Definitely a distraction,” Blake smiled at her.

“Hey if it helps my team,” Brielle ventured.

“I’m covering Ibaka, he’s not exactly KD,” Blake said with a mouth full of cereal.

“There’s more guys responsible for scoring points than just Kevin and Russell,” Brielle said getting up and taking her dirty bowl to the sink.

“Yeah that’s true,” Blake nodded watching her walk back to the bedroom.

Why did it seem like everything he had gained last night with her had suddenly vanished? He couldn’t remember doing or saying anything wrong. After their conversation in the tub, they had gotten out and gone to bed. Blake had even held her until she fell asleep.

“Did I do something wrong?” Blake asked coming up behind Brielle as she was brushing her teeth.

“No,” Brielle said rinsing her toothbrush. “Sorry just have a lot on my mind. It’s game day,” She said turning around and smiling up at him.

“I’m aware,” Blake nodded pulling her into him. “You going to wait for me after?” He asked running his hands up and down her back.

“Really?” Brielle pulled back slightly looking up at him. “That won’t look weird at all,”

“Yeah I know. Maybe someday I can come out of the locker room and see you standing there with all the other wives,” Blake smiled looking at her.

“Maybe. That would require a ring and a commitment,” Brielle smirked at him pulling away and grabbing her bag.
